Kassy's DIY Vit C Serum Recipe

15% C, E + Ferulic Acid Serum, 1oz

  • 1 tsp L-Ascorbic Acid
  • 1/8 tsp Ferulic Acid
  • 1/4 tsp of Vitamin E Oil
  • 1 tsp SKB
  • 1 tsp jojoba oil (or 1/2 tsp of jojoba and 1/2 tsp of another oil of choice)
  • 1/4 tsp vodka
  • 3 tsp Distilled H2O

To prepare use 3 shot glasses.

In glass #1 put the H2O, and LAA ,

In glass #2 put Ferulic Acid and ice cold Vodka. Stir frequently.

In glass #3 put remaining ingredients.  Vit E, SKB, and jojoba oil or oil of your choice.

When the contents of glass #1 have fully dissolved, combine both glass #1 and #2, stir well, then combined glass #3, mix together.

Pour into 1oz bottle.. Give it a good shake, store in fridge or in a cool, dark place.. Shake a bit before use

*It can take up to 30 mins to *fully* dissolve H20/LAA, and also FA/Vodka, keeping your vodka in the freezer helps dissolve FA much quicker*

can you keep the rest of ascorbic poweder stored? does it go bad?
HI, can I add Hyaluronic Acid, Optiphen, and Polysorbate 80 to this recipe? If yes, how much can I add? I was thinking  1.5% Hyaluronic Acid (1% solution) , 0.5% Optiphen, and 0.5% Polysorbate 80? would this work? Thx :)
