Anyone knows solutions to acne problems?

I have been suffering from acne problems and sometimes they really get worse. I have tried many of the anti-acne products available but I am not satisfied with them as I feel that the results they give are just a matter of time. Can anyone suggest me a good remedy for this?

Re: Anyone knows solutions to acne problems?

There is no silver bullet for the acne problem. Each person's skin is different and some products out there works better than others.
For me, drinking lots of water and keeping a healthy diet keep them down. Also, I don't use makeups when I can ... All the bests.

Acne is just plain frustrating. I work intensively with acnetic patients. What are you currently using on your skin? any topical vitamins or serums?

Anika is on the money here! A great deal of improvement can come "from within".

Many skin care issues can be helped greatly if diet/water intake is sorted as a first priority. Then if you need some more help, take a close look at the products out there - just don't rely on the creams and potions for a magic fix!

Re: Anyone knows solutions to acne problems?

PS.....I've three grown up "kids" who all went through the acne stage. The two girls had no problems as they were prepared to listen to Mum and cut down on the alcopops and burgers....

My boy had bad acne for a while, simply because he wouldn't put in the effort to amend his lifestyle - ever tried getting a 6ft3in rugby player to cut out the beer and the takeaways??? - but that's another issue?!

Spending time in the fresh air and sunshine may have some short term benefits for acne, but in the long term it can lead to premature skin aging and wrinkles. It is vital to use a sunscreen product on the exposed skin, even in the winter, as aging UVA rays are present all year round.

acne secret

U must realize the fact that there is no magic. Depends on your severity, u need different strategy. Or it would be somthing like works for me but not for you. For the mild case, antibiotics solution works well with virtually no side effects. it works by killing the bacteria p acni on your skin but the precise mechanism not known. So if u belong to the group i suppose early prevention is better than cure. Just dont sit at home and hope it go away. U must face it head on .
