well, thats dependshow dark is the wound and how old is it. lemon juice used with consistancy helps to lightn the darker skin

there are 2 components to a scar, texture and color
both should improve a little with time
but you can fade the color much faster by using oriki whiten serum
this does not work on bumpy scar called keloid

YOU CAN TRY THESE TIPS AGAINST ACNE SCARS

Keep your skin free of excess oils. That does not mean that you strip away the acid mantle totally. Just keep the oil manageable so that it does not look shiny. Use cleansers that are mild and preferably enriched with AHAs to keep the acid mantle undisturbed.

Use exfoliation agents such as topical retinoids to remove the excess dead skin cells that accumulate around the pore. Treat blackheads, because they draw attention to the pores. Skin protection from sun can reduce the enlargement of pores.

Natural recipe

Mix table salt and buttermilk into a paste. Work well into the area where pores tend to be enlarged. Remove with warm water and repeat several times a week until the condition clears up.
