yep accutane is quite dangerous

It wasn't dangerous for me. I followed instructions to a T. My only side effects where dry skin, and I used a non soap cleanser and sunscreen, moisturizer. I had to have blood test once a month, to make sure everything was A okay! I had acne from a freshman in high school, college, till, I was 25 and had tried everything! tetracycaline, proactive, you name it. I was on it for 9 months. I am now 47, I have never, ever had another occurring act of acne, except for the occassional pimple, from hormones. I have never regretted using this drug. Everyone I know who has used it, including my sister, says if they had it to do over again, they would.
Every drug has side effects, not just accutane. Follow instructions, stay out of the sun, get sunscreen regardless, if you go on accutane and wear it daily, and a good moisturizer suited to your skin type.
