Has anyone had success with anything for blackheads and acne on 40-year-old skin?

Hi there. I'm quite a bit over 40 and still get the occasional zit once in awhile. But I think if you are experiencing frequent breakouts, then you should see a doctor. There is also a chance it could be your makeup or skin care products. What do you use?

So many factors can lead to acne. Diet and stress are the two biggies in my opinion. Here are some other things to take into consideration:
What skin care line are you using? Are your makeup brushes clean? Are you "overcleaning" your face (washing more than 2x/day) or using water that's too hot?

I am 39 and still get breakouts and blackheads and it is frustrating to say the least. What has been working pretty well for me is a new product epizyn that a friend recommended. It seems to clear up my face and not dry it out at all. I guess it is supposed to have a lot of other uses for the skin too. The website is just epizyn.com. 1st try cleaning and/or replacing your makeup tools. Always use a fresh makeup sponge.

2nd schedule an appointment with an aesthetician for a skin analysis and a deep cleaning.

Recommend Dr appointment last.

My cousin hooked me on this face wash at ezrioni. It is suppose to be for men, it is listed under their men's products, but I LOVE it! It is called Tea Tree & Honey Face Wash for Problem Skin. I don't break-put anymore, and I wear quite a bit of make-up. I highly recommend it.
