Help with picking an undereye cream

I am 28 years old and in the past couple of months I have noticed my skin has changed drastically. In the corners of my eyes I have tiny lumps that make my skin look all bunched and together and tons of undereye wrinkles. When I get out into the car and look in the vanity mirror I just want to cry. I ordered Meaningfull Beauty by Cindy Crawford but it seems to just make matters worse so I canceled it. Its like I have lost all elasticity in my skin. I know I won't stay young forever but I just didn't think it would creep up on me so fast. I was hoping somebody would have some advice on a cream that really really works because they have seen results. Thank you for your help! My name is Jenny by the way.

I would suggest Elemis Pro-Collagen Eye Cream.

Re: Help with picking an undereye cream

I really like the eye kandy by skoah. It contains plant polypeptides which increase collagen and elastin production and help smooth fine lines/wrinkles around the eye area. The cream is very rich and hydrating you only need a TINY amount of it applied around the eye bone area atleast 2X per day to see results. The first thing i noticed is that it reduced the puffiness around by eyes. It also contains titanium dioxide to soothe dark circles. I don;t have dark circles, but my aunt does and I gave her an eye kandy for christmas and it is noticeable how much lighter the dark circles are now. Took her a couple months, but it was worth it!

Re: Help with picking an undereye cream

I like the Neutrogena Visibly Firm Cream. It has improved my skin's elasticity and firmness, plus it's fragrance free, which I like. The cream is also inexpensive.

I don't understand. What do you mean by lumps? Wrinkles are one thing but if there are lumps maybe you should go to a skin doctor or cosmetician to check it out.

I would suggest using Hydroxatone Under Eye Treatment. It helped me get rid of dark circles.

Re: Help with picking an undereye cream

I agree with debbie34...you should see a doctor. It usually takes years, not months, to drastically age your skin...and since you noticed these changes in the past few months (and you're only 28), your problems may be something different from aging skin...maybe allergies to something new you're using?...only a doctor can diagnosed it properly.

Secret to Beautiful Skin

There is a great article called Secret to Beautiful skin at skinregimens dot com. I personally use the products myself and have noticed a huge difference in the bags under my eyes and the little lines in the corners of my eyes. Now my Mom and my best friend use it too and they always thank me for introducing them to this skin care line.

I would say to try out Dermalogica's Multivitamin Power Firm for eyes and lips, I really like it.

Re: Help with picking an undereye cream

Jean D' Arcel Stri-Lift eye cream. Brand new and the best I've used. And go to conventions every year testing the latest and greatest.

This gives instant results that keep improving the eye area. Plus, it's only $40 and lasts at least 3-4 months.

*tip: do not over apply too much eye cream (especially at night) as it can cause puffiness. Use the smallest amount. If you need more moisture, apply just a tinge more until you learn exactly how much works for you. Most of us think that if we use more it will work better. Not true. Less is more.

Hey Jenny

Try using Obagi ELASTIderm Night Eye Cream. It improves skin elasticity and considerably reduces wrinkles and fine lines. I have tried it myself and it starts showing results within two weeks

Re: Help with picking an undereye cream

Hi! The best undereye cream that I have used is "Awake" by Teava Skincare. It is a skincare line based around the benefits of tea, so all of the products have natural active ingredients. This cream targets fine lines, puffiness, dark circles and dull, dry skin. It leaves my eyes looking great each morning and the skin is so hydrated! It is truly amazing and I have all of my friends hooked on it.

The best eye cream ever is Elastiderm eye cream or gel ( I like the gel, because you can put it on right before you put on your eye makeup and it won't smear.

Cool I know exactly what you mean!

Hi JennyK! I joined this forum to post a question pretty much just like yours, but then I found yours! I have noticed the same exact thing over the past several months -- I have those little white bumps too and I wonder if it is from very heavy eye creams? I have had a few (called milia, i think) that were rather hard and large. Also, I have the loss of elasticity under my eyes that you described, i feel like it's sagging or something. Does anyone know if heavy moisurizers can cause skin to sag? I know it makes your eyes puffy underneath... That happens to me.

Re: Help with picking an undereye cream

I think at your age you might want to consult a physician about lumps. Plenty of sleep, eating right, plenty of water, reducing your stress will help. Also you could look into Aveeno Eye cream...Check with DR. first about lumps.
