Hi
That clearly looks like water retention. Meaning too much salt in your diet. Try drinking a glass of water everyday first thing in the morning. heck with it! keep the bottle beside your bed so you dont forget! hydrate throughout the day as your body requires. report in 10 days.

I read something a few years ago that makes sense to me... it was written by a dermatologist and I was doing the research because I started noticing lines under my eyes too *gasp*... along with all the other common recommendations of getting enough sleep and drinking enough water, using sunscreen and a hydrating cream under the eyes, he recommended not sleeping on your stomach. If you lay with your head on your pillow you can feel your face being pressed into it, and your skin is pushed into a certain position. Think of all the countless hours your skin is pressed like this, of course you will develop lines. This also explains why the lines are a little different on both sides and why they are worse on one side of my face, since I like to sleep a certain way.
Also, look at a baby picture of yourself. Did you have lines then? I never noticed it before, but I had little lines even then! So some people's faces are just different..

im 20 and have the same thing, under both my eyes. i hope its because of irregular and insufficient sleep and water intake. the past year i have been going to bed at 2:00 or later having to wake up at 7 or 8 very often and sometimes earlier. on top of that i have been drinking almost everyday and almost no water. i just stopped drinking and, started drinkng more water, and going to bed earlier, and eating more fruits. will this help?? how long will it take? please answer Thanks

I believe that natural way is much better than in bottles or jars...Might i suggest that you try slicing a juicy cucumber and place it on top of your eyes maybe 30mins before sleeping and rinse your face with lukewarm water... get enough rest, take vitamin K and vitamin E for additional back-up supplements and you may try using LifeCell Skin too...

Men first look at girls eyes, then her breasts, then her body..and THEN try to get to know her. Men are much more interested in the physical then the emotional, especially at first. Women are usually not like this, that is if they are educated women with good hearts. Now, if you want a shallow girl who only likes you because you have a "nice face", then ok. But just remember, as soon as you start showing any lines or age on your face, that shallow girl will move on to the next "pretty face".
You want to know what I and my other female friends look for in a guy? Keep in mind I used to be a model, and most of my girlfriends are models too, so we aren't ugly girls desperate for a man -we can usually have our pick of men. There are TONS of good looking guys with nice faces and lots of muscles from working out everyday..that isn't anything special..it is very common nowadays..but the mistake these "pretty boys" make is thinking this is all that matters and is their ticket to having women...WRONG! Quality ladies first look to see if you have a brain..are you smart? Can you talk to us like an intelligent person, and not just b*llshit around about stupid stuff? Are you a gentleman? Do you treat us like the most important thing in the world (even if we aren't), open the car door for us, and treat us and talk to us with respect, the way you are supposed to treat a lady? Do you have a good career and education? This is probably the most important thing to us, because we don't want to end up with a guy who has no ambition, most of us want to go somewhere in life.
Never, ever underestimate the attraction women feel for men with intelligence, good hearts and success. Sure, we don't want a guy who looks like a troll..but lines and wrinkles aren't something most of us care about when we love a man. And THAT'S the key word..Love..because if a woman falls in love with you..and it is Real Love..she didn't do it because you have few wrinkles under your eyes.
If you don't want to believe me, that's fine. I can't change your mind and you can believe what you want. But the fact is, unless you go to a Dermatologist or Plastic Surgeon to have an expensive and painful eye treatment, you need to just do the best you can with over the counter eye creams, focus on something else, and learn to live with the lines on your face.
And if you want a REALLY good eye cream, go buy Lancome's Progres Eye Cream. It is a very "old school" greasy eye cream, but many models like myself love this stuff, because it DOES make your eyes look better while you use it, because it fills in the wrinkles temporarily by flooding your skin with moisturizers. Your eyes will look a little greasy, but that's better than them looking dry and crinkly right? lol...
Good luck to you!
| I just had to comment on this. " He needs to meet better quality girls"???? Seems like you need to meet some better quality guys as well then since you bother a lot about your skin etc.
And also, you say nice skin is not something that is importnat when you fall in love with someone.. But education and success and such are?? Stop worrying about your own wrinkles then and create your own success instead of riding on someone elses to fulfill your own "ambitions in life".
Sounds a bit like double standards and a bit shallow to me...

Hello, I am quite a bit older and up to the age of 40 had little problem with lines but now at 49 have noticed quite a few smile lines. (I obviously have inherited good skin as I remember that my mum didn't have many lines) However vanity has forced me to look for something to reduce these lines and I think that I have just found it! The product is called Transformulas (I think that this is the trade name) EyeLifting Gel (They have a web site) I bought it on a flight with Virgin Atlantic and it was nineteen pounds (On the site it is 25 pounds, but they have some offers) What caught my eye was that Victoria Beckham uses it - and she is still quite young - but more importantly I have tried it and it works!!! You put a little on and gently pull the side of your eyes - the instructions are in the box - it has definitely reduced my lines and I am going to order some more of their products (They didn't have the lip pout cream on the flight, unfortunately! - although you guys probably are not interested in that!)

| Its not age that only causes it some are wrong diet, stress, etc are others...
You might have to wait for a month or so to achieve a great result...persistence is the key to home made remedies...if you want to try some products, i suggest that you do some research first to check out what's best for your skin type...check out wikipedia.com and eyereviews.com for additional informations...hope this helps too..

I think lack of 'good'sleep can be a factor ,but as someone has already said,it sounds as if it could be eye bags.!
Eye bags are often hereditary, cause i reckon i was born with them and i must confess i never much took much notice of family members eyes because i just dont, however NOW i do notice that many relations are a bit baggy/puffy around the eyes.
Some creams can help on a tempory basis ,but i ,in the end, resorted to plastic surgery .
They say that eye bags need only be addressed once ,but i,m not so sure over time if thats the case, because my friend Kaye has twice had eye bag surgery.? |
