Hi, lm only 24 and have noticed that when l raise my eyebrows, ie - when applying eyeshadow/mascara, that deep "frown lines" appear (I think "surprise lines" suits better! lol). Anyway, these lines take ages to disappear and I wondered if anyone knows of any good creams specifically for this area. Thanks, Rooo

I think creams with a nice moisturing base would be good for you. I'd also look into botox and possibly microdermabrasion to assist in removing what you already have.

Thanks, the thing is though I have quite oily skin and am prone to spots, and dont want to make this worse!

There are obviously quite a few products out there that specialize in the removal of frown lines. I think the thing that is most important given your skin type is that you take the time to research a product prior to buying it. Clinical studies are a good way to measure the quality of a product. If the product does not publish their clinical studies be weary of them. Obviously I am partial to the products that I have been involved with the research and developement of, but wanting to be impartial in this community I will leave it to you to find the best product for your skin type. Frown lines are those veritcal lines between your eyebrows that occur when you are concentrating very hard. Often referred to as the "eleven sign" because it looks like the number 11. I think you are talking about the horizontal lines on the forehead. In either case moisturizers are the first step. Make sure you are well hydrated as well as dehydration will cause those lines to remain much longer. There are other causes as well, such as skin sensitivity to creams and lotions, tanning, smoking, etc. So, there are many things you can do (stop tanning, stop smoking) which you can do to help yourself. At the medical level retin A would be a good addition to your regimen. Botox can be done later if needed. Good luck.

You may be talking about the "elevens" lines
that are vertical lines above the nose and
between the eyes. I have had those, but
have had amazing results with "Frownies".
They work like magic on frown lines. They
are advertised for other lines, but I don't think
they work well anywhere else. I use them
between my eyebrows every night and have
had a noticable reduction in the "elevens".
Frownies are shapes of brown paper with
a sticky side, like a stamp, that you moisten
and stick onto your trouble spot. Great for
frown lines, like I said but I have not had the
same great results anywhere else on my face.
