Women all over the world, including many celebrity models and actresses have regular CACI treatments.

CACI Lift 6

CACI Lift 6 is the new non surgical face lift technology which can lift eye bags and overhanging eyelids, lift sagging jowls, lift double chins, reduce wrinkles and plump up lips! CACI Lift 6 works on firming and tightening the skin and reducing fat in the face, resulting in a younger, firmer face with a more defined jaw line.
Lordm have you tried this therapy because it sounds like something I had done. I had several sessions and all that did was lighten my wallet.

The theory behind it where it states that it reduces the fat in the face would seem to go against what I have read in other places where it is stated that part problem of the aging process is that it involves the loss of volume (including fat) from the face. So it would seem that at least part of the premise for this particular therapy is incorrect.

No, I have not used this machine. I was answering a question from this post 'What does CASI stand for?" It sounds like it's a facial exercise machine that uses electrical current to flex and stimulate the facial muscles. It would work the same as doing manual facial exercises. I didn't read where it said that it gets rid of fat. The only thing that gets rid of fat is to step away from the banana splits and physical exercise to burn calories. .

Re: nasal-labial fold lines- help!

I hope my reply did not come across as rude. I guess I'm just getting very wary of many skincare devices and treatments especially after I spent several hundred dollars on those treatments I mentioned and they did nothing.

By the way...

"The only thing that gets rid of fat is to step away from the banana splits and physical exercise to burn calories." ... excellent advice

Re: nasal-labial fold lines- help!

Facial fillers are really the only thing that will really "fill" in those lines. Also using a product with hyloraunic acid will temporarily plump them up. Radiesse is a great filler. It will last up to 18 months...much longer than the others...expect to pay around six hundred for a full syringe. A full syringe fills pretty much your whole face. If there is any left, the dr. can save it for you to use later.

Re: nasal-labial fold lines- help!

This is an old thread, but here is some new info about an exercise to erase them:
"Open your mouth, forming a long "O' or oval with your mouth. Keep your upper lip pressed down against your teeth. Try and visualize two dots in the upper & lower lips and keep them as far apart as you can!! Now take the index fingers of both your hands and move them up and then down along your nasal labial folds. At the same time, tilt your head foward & then tilt it back (keeping your head flat on the bed or floor). Visualize the energy flowing up and down until you feel the burn in the nasal labial line. When you feel the burn, pull your fingers away from your face & pulse them up and down quickly for the count of thirty. Now blow out between your lips to release the lactic acid and relax the muscles of the face" (quote from "aprile" on EDS)

Re: nasal-labial fold lines- help!

LOL you have to do it a couple times and really visualize what you're doing to get it I think! It sounds odd, but it's worth a try, right?

Oh heck ya I will try it if I could figure out how to do it. I am a visual learner-to read this and then do it, just doesn't make sense to me. Can you do an etcha sketch example?

Re: nasal-labial fold lines- help!

Just rock your head back and forth while keeping the head on the bed, not necessarily FLAT on the bed.

And draw your fingers up and down while rocking your head and keeping your mouth in that 0 position with your top lip drawn tightly across your upper teeth.

It's hard to explain, but once you get it it's easy. Does that make sense at all?

Thanks!! Yes it does make sense and it does burn. Does this mean I did it right? It really hurts my jaw, is that normal?
