All these snake products give me the creeps!
I am just wondering is there any such anti-aging product which helps plump up the skin and get rid of fine lines and which is cheap of course! |

Pumi talk to Fawnie about Retinol Cream, it is not cheap but everyone seems to think worth that!! The trouble with cheap creams is that they but put in a high enough consistency of the good products that keep your skin in good condition, I think anyway!! Are you eating well and taking vits and minerals and drinking water also dead sea products are good one to use from time to time but will not do much to help with lines im afraid!! Also did you look at Neo strata and La Roche Posay they seem to have some good products for OIly skin!! I know Olay do some but am bit 50 50 with Olay!!

Well I do both but I like eating meat so need extra vits and minerals, I know fawnie recommended me to hydrochloric acid that I take regularly now and seeweed tablets of course, also thinking of taking Collegan tablets to help skin instead of using more cream, however Im not about long terms effects if your body does not get used to these things or not!! Ask a few others for there opinions but personally if you have good diet you prob dont need them and could just get seeweed tablets and few anti anging herbal tablets! Not sure though sorry and yeah the confusion eventually goes away, have you picked your anti aging products yet?

| To start with, I was planning to add just the vit c serum in my skincare regime and c if it helps with my fine lines and skin in general. If not, I would then buy an anti-aging cream preferably from Olay, Roc or the mild green cream u suggested. For the mo, I have replaced my moisturiser with facial oil and I must admit the oil does make my skin softer and smoother.
I like eating meat too! hehe. I've been thinking a lot abt the collagen tablets too. They are very tempting but like u, I do not want to take the risk coz we do not know abt the side effects , etc.

Sorry pumi meant to say dont really eat meat, cause I dont like it!! Far as collagen tablets etc what a lot of people say is that once you have been taking vitamins and minerals for long time your body may get used to it after a while and these tablets may stop working! I have not heard about any long term side effects can always do google search! Yeah just introduce one thing at a time into anti aging skin care regimen but not sure if Vit C will work with fine lines just on its own but let me know how it goes!! Hope it does work for you though, good luck with it!

| Hey, NY is the body shop vitamin c line not very effective then? I was thinking of giving it a try. Yeah, very difficult to get all the ingredients here
Any idea where I can buy PH strips??
Thanks.

| It was originally meant to be used around the eyes -- not lids. At first you will feel quite a tingle until your skin gets used to the serum. You may want to try and eye cream that has a high Vit C content -- I don't know of any but it seems that every line of cosmetics -- especially the higher priced ones have a Vit C& E eye cream. Why not try using your regular eye cream mixed with a little L-ascorbic acid crystals.
From the documentation I've seen -- it does appear to eliminate dark circles and puffy eyes. One thing I will tell you about this serum -- it does not work overnight -- that's why so many people go on to another product. I kept with it because I had two bottles -- which lasted 6 months -- I kept using it because of the cost. Like everything else -- and unfortunately this is true -- products work differently on different people -- that's why the cosmetic industry is so big and flourishing. |

| I don't think so. I took a look at that website, and looked at a few of the anti-aging products, and they don't tell you the ingredients. It makes you wonder whether or not there are even any actives in them. And who are these "stars" anyway? Sounds fishy to me.

I have decided to try the body shop one as I like most of their products and it is not very costly either. I will report on how it goes after some time. I will give it some time to work first Also, just wanted to know if it's ok to use vit c serum on oily and acne prone skin? Does it happen that the skin gets used to the vit c after some time and no longer responds to it after a while?
Thanks for all ur helpful replies and tips |

I have been using Diva Deva products, I first saw them when my salon got them in about a year ago. Now I am totally hooked, love them as they do not have any perfume in them and can really see a difference to my skin (50 yrs old) even my husband can see a difference. Love their Power Peptide Serum and Collagen Intensifier and they have a Intense Peptide Ampoule which really boosts my skin. Hope this helps. |

Hola, amigas! New to your forum and like the rest, looking to avoid getting any older than I must. Or at least not APPEARING any older than I must. NY, I've also heard good stuff about Roc, but NOT the stuff we get here in US. It's apparently not as powerful as the Canada/UK stuff.
Pumi, AlphaHydrox line is good, simple and cheap. Dunno if you can find in UK, but it's good stuff. Olay Regenerist line gets good reviews, although when it first came out I read some complaints about irritation. I think that's been addressed, tho. Anyway, nice emoji!

I been using Bruno Vassari Kianty Wrinkless Pencil, a little tiny red pencil like product. Which works perfect for me, see that all the finer lines around my eyes and forehead areas seem to be erased off pretty well!
What really made me go for it is because a good friend of my, told me that this has BOTOX like effect, which she tried on me, and i saw the effect myself. This is something that i'm pretty happy about which really part from all the Lancome, dermalogical's products that i tried. Hope it works for you!
