Wow amy, these products sound interesting. Where can I find more information about this Newtox line? Do you think that I should consider buying it or do you have any other products that are preferable?

Talking anti-aging product that I love

Try ELASTIderm the gel or the cream, it is the same ingredients just a different texture - it is awesome, I haven't tried the relastin you are using, but I love the results I am getting with ELASTIderm. It is made by Obagi.

Re: Which anti-aging products do you like?

Everyone should use Retinol as an anti aging product if your skin can tolerate it. A good product is Topix Replenix it comes in different levels and also contains Hydroxy acid so it is hydrating. Also a GREAT product line is Kinerase. The Kinerase seems pricey but it lasts a long time. I agree with the other HydroDerm is not a great product.

Re: Which anti-aging products do you like?

I know of some great "repair" products that are natural based and work wonderfully. Vitamin C rejuvinating treatment, Optimize rejuvinating eye serum, Skin prefecting serum, White Tea Calming Serum, Advanced Firming Treatment. These are great! If you don't have a skin care routine right now you should think about it. It's the taking proper care of your skin on a daily basis that really helps and when you add any repair products you can't go wrong! When using a sun screen, don't use just any one out there- a lot are full of oils and are not made specifically for the face.

Have a great day!

I had a great result using producted that my mother-in-law formulated for me. A combination of HA, Blueberry and Collagen.

I just started using Beauticontrol's Lip Apeel, which is working on mine. It's like a lip exfoliator and it has a lip balm you apply after the exfoliation. I love it.

Re: Which anti-aging products do you like?

Hi Everyone,

I am new to skincare talk, and absolutely love it so far. A product line that I have been using is Beauty Society. This skincare line is all about antiaging, fixing sun damage, rosacea and so on. One of my favorite products is a product called All Nighter. This product is a age-defying night resurfacer that you put on before bed each night. It has the highest ingredients available on the market like retinol and matrixyl peptides. You will see a noticeable difference within a few days.

Hope this helps!

Re: Which anti-aging products do you like?

The product that has done the most for my skin is Obagi (most likely the tretinoin). To maintain this, since I didn't want to continue the harsh Obagi regimen, I am currently using Prodonia's Antioxidant Power-House and ALA Lifting Serum...my skin loves it!

Re: Which anti-aging products do you like?

Vdooler- There's right. I wouldn't buy hydroderm's product. The main reason is for their lack of customer care. The product also has limited scientifical support.

I've been using a product from Sally's beauty salon called ...I can't remember the name. It's in a yellow pump bottle and contains SPF and anti-aging ingredients in doses similiar to that of high end products. Not point paying more for the same results. If anyone is interested, I will look up the name of the product tonight (when I get home).

Re: Which anti-aging products do you like?

I have to agree with Lulu that rosehipseed oil is fantastic for wrinkles and making the skin softer and looking more toned. I bought some from Rosacara.co.uk and it is far superior than the other oil that I was using, this is an English company but they ship to the US and the postage is very reasonable. The quality of natural oils makes a huge difference in perfomance, I have a whole container full of the different oils but I love this rosehipseed oil. I have tried so many face creams/eye creams even the La Mer cream mentioned on here and I can't believe I was stupid enough to fork out $200 for this cream, it was a nice moisturizer but did nothing at all for the lines on my face.

Lightbulb Anti Aging Skin Care

Hi Susie,

I had a woman ask me recently how I was able to look so young and vibrant. I took it as a compliment as I spend a good amount of time researching and implementing the perfect anti aging skin care regiment.

There are a number of different products on the market that claim to be able to skim years from our skin in only a matter of days. They promise incredible results with minimal effort. Unfortunately, these products and companies are often misleading. Like any other worthwhile endeavor, anti aging skin care takes a bit of hard work and devotion on your part to make succeed. I spent extra hours every week working towards smoothing away developing wrinkles. Trust me, if it was possible to make them disappear overnight, I would have.

Anti Aging Skin Care Ingredients
There are a few known products though that I do use because they have been proven to have anti aging effects. The most effective and best documented supplement I’ve used is retinoic acid. We all know that Vitamin A has a profound effect on our skin health. As a derivative of that vitamin, retinoic acid is able to thicken skin and improve its texture, smoothing out wrinkles in the process. I have found though that many of the products you can buy directly over the counter at your local drug store do not contain nearly enough of the retinoids needed to combat the effects of aging. I have seen some women who respond very well to these low concentration products. However, for most of us, effective anti aging skin care products are best found with our dermatologists. Another product I have used for years, originally to supplement my Vitamin C skin care products is that of Alpha Lipoic Acid or ALA for short. It is a highly effective anti-oxidant that works in tandem with other vitamin supplements to cut off free radical damage to your skin. I have been very pleased with the results of ALA, making it one of my favorite anti aging skin care products. There are plenty of products being released with ALA as it has become a recent phenomenon. Read carefully to make sure the product you buy is high potency.

There are a number of other products claiming to work as anti aging skin care solutions. Though I have not used all of these products, I have carefully followed the research being done and the consensus on their results. CoEnzyme Q 10, the highly hyped natural cell enzyme that many companies are synthesizing for use in their anti aging skin care products has been shown to be quite effective in recent years in prompting your body to produce more collagen and elastin and in fighting free radicals. Vitamin C and Green Tea are other anti-oxidant sources that have proven in recent years to be very effective – Vitamin C treatment being one of my favorite and most carefully applied weekly products.I always recommend at least one solid anti-oxidant be included in you skin care regiment. Ideally, a combination of multiple different products will further protect you from the effects of aging by fighting off those unsightly little free radicals. Be sure to stay away from products that make big claims and do not have the ingredients to back them up though.

Sincerely,

Maya McMahon

The brand I love most is Perfective Ceuticals. Their products contain growth factors and peptides which claim to repair skin and help fight the intrinsic factors of aging. It's not an overnight quick fix, it is a long-term preventative measure against aging skin. You probably won't notice any difference in your skin after using up just one week, but if you keep using it for a month, you'll notice the difference when you compare your skin with your friends who have not used it!

Re: Which anti-aging products do you like?

StarDiva I take it from your user name that you are a representative for Beauty Society! I looked at the Beauty Society website and nowhere could I find a list of ingredients, which I thought was required, so I can't tell if this is an all natural product or not. I'd appreciate any info you could give me on this product line.

Sun damage

You know, don't feel bad. They say that the sun exposure you get before you even turn eighteen is what contributes to most sun-related aging. And when you're young, you just want to look good. What's a girl to do?
