| You probably dont want to hear this and it may not be what you want but i know that they do false eyebrows like they do false eyelashes , I dont know anyone that has used them but they may be ok for special occasions ?? or at least till your eyebrows grow back.

Maby sounds odd, but i've been using a 15% glycolic cream for a while now (from a company called bravura, it's a night treatment cream). And my eyebrows have been starting to grow like crazy!

Well, your new and saying a glycolic cream grew you eyebrows, that seems dubious. If you are being honest, I give my e-apology. A lot of new posters tend to make outlandish and miraculous claims of products.

Well, for me it does, my forhead always had those little soft hairs, but now they are become much larger and start to grow since i use that product. I'm not lying. =\
EDIT: and of course, my eyebrows started to grow faster.

I was reading the posts about castor oil.....wow! What a miracle oil...when I was a teenager I had really bad plantar warts on my toes...nothing would work...they were cut, burned with acid, etc....but nothing got rid of them until my podiatrist said ..."Well, it's an old wives tale, but I understand that if you rub the warts with castor oil using a stiff toothbrush it's supposed to take warts away." So, I tried it and the warts were gone in about 48 hours never to return!!! Now I have to try it on my eyebrows!!

| Just be careful not to scrub too hard if you use a toothbrush on the eyebrows. I actually don't even use a toothbrush on mine. I just rub it in gently with my finger. You can use just a tad bit on your lashes as well-

Thanks Lydiasellers and Taryn for your advise. I will try your suggestions. I have bought those small dental brushes to apply the castor oil, so I don't get it where I don't want it. But will massage the area first before applying. I volunteer at a nursing home in my area and this week a woman who has had to use eye drops for cataracts was showing everyone her LONG lashes. She said her C.N.A.s were all going to go to see if they could get the drops. I am going to print up some info to share with her to give them re Castor Oil and other items. doubt the Dr will give drops for lashes. I am trying the castor oil on my lash area too, but it affects my vision even though I am not using much. Anyone else used the CO on lashes with results. HAPPY NEW YEAR all...

I was a victim of "over tweezing" and the tails of my brow and part of one arch were very thin. I wanted to achieve a dramatic arch without having to use the pencil anymore.
I was in Australia in August and picked up a product called Bamboo Lash and Bamboo Brow. THey are all natural products which was what appealed to me. I tried Latisse Lash product but had a great deal of rednes and bumps by my lid line. My physician told me not to continue use of it.
I used the Bamboo Lash and Brow products every day 2x a day. My lashes had noticible thickness within 3 weeks and after 5 they had the length to match. I now use it only 3x a week for upkeep.
The exciting results for me were that although it took about 8 weeks, my eyebrow tails started to appear again! I keep using the product because it works. I had no irritation with the Bamboo Lash or Brow. They do not contain prostaglandins, parabans or propylene glycol and do not test on animals!

I just wanted to update everyone. I've been using RapidLash for 4 weeks now, and am at last seeing some decent results on my eyebrows. |

I am right here with you on the thin to nill brows. I over plucked at a young teenager and they haven't been the same since. Actually worse as I got older. I also have Hypothyroid which can cause you to loose the outer brow area.
I use Laura Mercier eyebrow pencil and Smashbox Brow Powder to help achieve as close to natural brow that I can artistically draw. Can you tell from my photo??
I am thinking about ordering the Latisse from alldaychemist too. Write back and tell me how it worked for you..
Tattoo is my last option.

| I use Latisse, not generic form, and it REALLY helps with my brows. I have Hypothyroid as well, but have never noticed my brows loosing hair. My scalp........YES, but eyebrows, NO.
I have never tried the generic from ADC so I cannot comment on it. I know several here have tried and use it though.

Thanks for the insight. I am just about desperate to say the least.
I am quite skeptical ordering the product online.
However, nothing uglier than a drawn on brow. I have mastered the art of it ... if there is such a thing!
I get comments/compliments all the time-- how do you get your brows to perfect.
I am very paranoid. Not sure if they like them or if they are making fun.
Hope to hear more reviews about this product. Or any product to help the brows!

Have you tried castor oil?? Some have very good results just applying that to their brows. I apply it on off nights I don't use the Latisses. It is rather thick, I apply a thin layer on my brows and on my lips. LOVE this stuff. I also use it on my hands. It is cheap, so its worth a try.
I am a Laura Mercier fan so YES, I can see how her products can give the "real" look. You mastering it.....girls gotta do what a girls gotta do-good for you!!

thanks everyone. i have combed the internet for proper answer to eyebrow growth and this is where i got some serious solution.
i am 30 and have an average eyebrow. the hairs on it are there but light and very few.
i have been applying olive oil and almond oil all my life but have never seen results. still to use castor oil. if nothing happens i will give it a shot to lumigan, latisse, careprost and so on...will try everything out...
what's amazing is i have lovely silky enviously long hairs but i don't understand why its not same with my eyebrow. it may be because of hereditary as my mom and dad both dont have impressive brows...but i m not going to live with it...
if nothing happens then eyebrow wig or else a eyebrow tattoo..
will post my eyebrow pic soon..
thx again people..
