Brow Transplants? That sounds painful!
Have you thought about tattooing eyebrows? They now do the tattooing so it looks like small fine hairs as opposed to a simple straight line. I'm sure this is painful af well but less severe than a eyebrow transplant, so I would think.

Hi all.
I use the Skinactives KGF Brow and Lash serum in the daytime, and Rapidlash at night. I was only using the KGF but a couple months into it I starting using the Rapidlash. The KGF made them healthy but I did not get the full results I was looking for until I added the Rapidlash to my routine.
I would not be without either. My lashes are thick, longer and curl now, and in the morning when I get up, they look great. Nice to look in the mirror and see eye definition without makeup.
Regarding my brows, I was applying to a thin area and then the other day, it was even thinner. I think I pull them out during the day at work when I am stressed. Not sure because I am not aware I am doing it but after looking in the mirror and slightly recalling my bad behavior, I have a real issue that I need to stop doing. I do recall touching them in the day, but thought it was in the middle but with this newest patch missing, must be I have a nervous habit. |

I have considered tattooing but afraid the permanant makeup artist will not get my brows just right and then I will be stuck with them. I am a perfectionist about my brows. I would like to do it myself. This would he the cheapest way. I found something on ioffer ..it's a permanant makeup (eyebrow) device where you can do it yourself. Tricky but I couldn't help but read about it and consider it.
What is the estimated healing time for tattooing brows? I'd have to take off work to heal because I am the face perfectionist.
I am not certain I can afford the implants but am very curious. I don't want big bushy brows.

| Je55ica you sound so much like me. I am a perfectionist too about everything, including my eyebrows. I DID have mine tatooed but it took me ages too to take the plunge because of the exact same reason as you. Anyway, to cut a long story short, she drew them on first to make sure I was happy with them and then went over them with the tatoo machine, so I knew what to expect. She actually did them extremely well. They have faded now but are still there after several years. I've been meaning to go back and get them re-done. In the meantime I draw over the top of them and wear my hair covering them so no-one really sees them but me. The still look FLAT though, and not natural.
Definitely give the careprost a go first. I plan to order some in the next few days, as I'm finally out of RA and have to order from ADC anyway.
Good luck to all of us .
P.S. Wow, it's really embarassing that I actually started this thread and STILL haven't given it a go yet. Just like to do one thing at a time and trying to get my skin better first. And worrying that it won't work.

YES-
We sound SO MUCH alike ! I am so glad to find someone to chat with having the same issues. Thanks for the info on the tattooing. You didn't mention any pain during the procedure? Did you feel discomfort?
How long did it take it to heal. I know when they first do it - it's real dark. How lond did yours take to lighten?
I don't want that to be the first thing someone sees when they look at me.
I've recently added more thicker bangs to help hide my brows too
I really want to order the careprost. I think it's my last chance besides tattooing.
Jessica

She has dealt with this habit for YEARS!!! The older she got the harder it was to get those poor brows to grow back. She finally started wearing (non prescripted) glasses to stop her from pulling her brows and make her realize when she was doing it. So maybe this is worth a try for you too-

It's a weird habit and no idea why I do it but I've been known to pull out some of my hair as well but that habit I did break mostly. I was good yesterday and paid attention but I am actually going to take your suggestion gymrat. I'm going to get new glasses and have a no-line bifocal made because while I don't need glasses for far, I need them up close. Thanks. This should help.

| | Re: Eyebrow Growth Jessica, I honestly think the careprost will work for you. Definitely give it a really good shot because it will look much better than tatooes. If after a good amount of time you are not happy with the amount of regrowth, you could perhaps get tatooes but at least you'll have some hair there to make it look more natural. I don't have any really so they are very flat.
Regarding the pain, I don't remember feeling any so if there was it was very mild. She may have used an anaesthetic (sp) (why do I always have so much trouble with the spelling of that word?), I can't really remember. I was very nervous so wasn't paying much attention. They took a couple of days to heal and I had to use a very rich cream on them for a few days, but I was able to go out in public. Yes, they are darker to start with and do fade quite a bit over time, which is a shame really because I have dark hair and wanted mine dark. Probably a week or so and they're already a shade or two lighter.
Definitely use this as a last resort, Jessica, or if you grow enough hair to make it look more natural. I think it can look natural for more definition if you want it if you've got real brows covering the tatooes.

A little cold pressed organic apricot oil, like less than half a teaspoon, by mouth every day helps me with my lashes and eyebrows, makes them long and thick. In a couple of weeks I started to see new lashes coming on top of the other's. |

Thanks for the advice - pep talk! Glad you understand my frustration.
You know what? I dreamed that I had beautiful perfect brows last night.. and I was filling them in still with a pencil but my hair was perfect! What a bummber to wake up! It was good while it lasted!
I really want to try the Careprost. I think I WILL order it tonight. Does it come with the little brushes or do I have to purchase those seperate? I've seen the Latisse brushes selling on ebay like HOT CAKES.
From the looks of my photos do you think my brows look okay the way I am basically drawing and filling them in? Sometimes I feel like an attraction.
So many people down "drawn ons" but..hey they make us UNIQUE

Je55ica it works but be patient. It will take 6-8 weeks! You will love it.

why suddenly people are suggesting careprost and not lumigan...?
i am currently applying lumigan but for 2nd bottle i have got careprost...
after 1 week of applying lumigan on eyebrows...i have something strange to say...
my eyelashes are growing and not the eyebrows..!
it has been just 1 week so ..its too early to say anything...its just an observation....
