Re: Stevia, a sweet wrinkle reducer?

I have been here so many times looking for something that would work for my wrinkles, I saw this and read everyones comments and I already had some stevia, I got it at WALMART it's called Truvia, (in a white and green box) so I heated up some packets in filtered water and after leaving it on for an hour or so I look 15 years younger, and that was this morning and it's 7 pm now and I still look amazing, I really can't believe it, but I'm so very happy! Wow!!!!

Re: Stevia, a sweet wrinkle reducer?

This mix is amazing. I am new and have been reading like a mad woman. Finally tried it on my almost 56 year old face, and, I must say, I look fabulous. Next, I am going to have to convince one of the pros to give me some serious diy help.

Question Re: Stevia, a sweet wrinkle reducer?

Has anyone tried the Truvia brand of Stevia as a facial? Does it work as well as original Stevia for "tightness and wrinkle reducing"?

Awesome! I'm glad that I am not the only one impressed with the stuff. I love the fact that is is sooooo affordable, but the fact that it actually works too- hey that has gotta make you smile!

There was no difference with the tumeric, except my skin was yellow- I had to scrub like a crazy woman for 2 days to get rid of it! - not something I would recommend.

Stevia works beutifully with yogurt. Just mixed it with yogurt leave it for an hour. Rinse and say hello to beautiful smooth skin

Re: Stevia, a sweet wrinkle reducer?

Wow, I discovered this thread this morning....
I happened to have some "NuNaturals NuStevia Powder" packets...

I mixed 2 packets up with a touch of toner
and put it on my face, neck and hands...
Left it on for about 45 minutes and washed off...
it really left my skin feeling fabulous and nicely taunt!

I am not sure how it will react on my face with my Obagi products...
so i may not do my face too much,
but i will keep putting it on my neck and hands!

Re: Stevia, a sweet wrinkle reducer?

Thank you! I have added Stevia for a few years now, per my acupuncturist. I love it and am going to try it on my face next!

By the way...I noticed the other day that they are making Stevia more available in the grocery stores, but are mixing it with regular sugar! Completely besides the point of this product. I always buy it at Whole Foods and it was not that expensive for a pack of 100- maybe $7.

Re: Stevia, a sweet wrinkle reducer?

I read the pdf article, and especially since Stevia is also supposed to be good for diabetes and eczema (both of which I have), I definitely have to give this a try.

Re: Stevia, a sweet wrinkle reducer?

This sounds like an awesome mask! I have 399 packets of TrueLeaf Stevia. Bought 400, tried one in my coffee and well....did not like it. I am so thankful to have something I can use these for! They're a bit past their date but I'll give it a shot anyway!

Has anyone tried mixing stevia with hyaluronic acid?

Re: Stevia, a sweet wrinkle reducer?

Hi Ladies!
I'm brand new here, but after stumbling on this stevia thread, and then rushing out and buying some and trying it earlier today( will do attempt number 2 tonight), I think I may have discovered another side effect.
First, the facts: I used two different types of stevia, Trader Joes organic 100% extract, and also the larger cheaper kind that has lactose powder mixed with it. The mask wasn't very thick, just enough to stay on, about the consistency of thin yogurt, and it cracked and flaked off when I moved.
I washed it off after about 15 minutes because I had to leave the house.
I noticed (maybe, jury is still out) a reduction of the pull-y wrinkles in my throat, but not much else.
Just now however, I noticed that it may have kicked in my botox.
I saw last week that I was able to form the crease in the middle of my brows again, meaning it was time for a botox touch up.
Putting on makeup just now, I realized that I am back to limited forehead movement. It might just be because the skin is tighter up there now, but whatever the reason, hooray!! My dermatologist is expensive! Anything to delay that trip is worth it.
I'm going to do a more proper mask tonight, probably using only the 100% extract.

Re: Stevia, a sweet wrinkle reducer?

Stevia banned in the UK???? WTH? Glad I found that one site that sells it. What a stupid move. With all of the known dangers of trans fats and sugar, the EU BANS Stevia?? Idiots... Oh well, we have the commisary on base. Maybe they sell the packets. I tolerate that stuff better than aspartame.

Re: Stevia, a sweet wrinkle reducer?

Hello ...

I just walked over to Whole Foods ... in LA ... and they have every variation of Stevia known to man ... I purchased both the extract in liquid form as well as the little packets of powder Stevia ... I mixed three packets with hot water and put a few drops of the liquid in with the mixture ... it is rather watery ... however, simply place it on your face with your fingers ... you will wonder, what is this all about ... how can anything so watery do anything ... but just wait ... it will dry and tighten your skin (seemingly) ... I still have it on as I write this ... but thus far, I love it ... my skin feels so tight ... I will report back once I rinse it off ...
