Please share your findings on topical niacinamide. Are there conclusive, solid evidence to this claim?

Topical. I know its used in many anti aging treatments such as the Olay regenerist line but I also read in some forums like imminst that it has the opposite aging effects in the long run but I was never able to fully understand how and why.

Only thing that comes to mind is what I've read over at imminst about it interfering with the actions of resveratrol. I assume that would be oral and topical revsveratrol.

NIA24 is a brand that's been around a while. Dermstore.com has this to say about it: Anti-aging Skin Care for Damaged and Pigmented Skin by Nia 24
I used it but didn't see anything miraculous happen.

Yes I use it on my lids. It's thick enough that it doesn't run into my eyes and I only have to use like a head of a pin size amount, so I just pat it on and it stays. I think it really is working...

Hmmmmmm you are making me want to try it- My left lid seems to be giving me grief lately. I can't tell if it is swollen or what the deal is.
It is hard to find eye products that are safe to put on your lids. So I just might have to take the leap of faith and try this fawnie, thanks you-

Gymmie
Try an eye exercise first. You may be surprised.
Hold the skin of your eyebrows up with your fingers, then try to close your upper eyelid against the pull of your fingers for the count of 6. Do this for 5 times. Build up to doing it 10 times. Do this every day. Massage the skin gently after the exercise to dissipate lactic acid.
Do you have some DMAE? That can help tighten too!

Wow thank you for that!! I am going to try that right now- just do it 5 times at first? and for how long before I move up to 10? Thank you!!
Yes I do have DMAE, but I haven't ever tried it on my lids.

I DO sleep on my left side- not really a big fan of salt, but who knows with all the eating I have done the last few days.
After you do your exercises do you apply any kind of oil or just massage the skin gently?

Be sure to do the exercises on a clean face with clean fingers! Duh!
I just go on with my usual routine after the massage: wash, and then my Bionova stuff. Sure you could use an oil afterward!
RE: babyQ. IIRC I started out doing it every 3rd day for a month, then every 5th day for 2 months, now I do it once a week. If you email the company they can devise a program for you. Or call them.

I will email them, thanks great idea-
I am excited to get started with it. I hope to see some kind of change. I think I will take before and after pics- just to see if there is a difference.
