and it stung, nothing horrendous. But it stung enough that I had to fan my face with the instruction card. 100% red face like a sunburn and 60% frosting. Now I wait.
Should I put something on my skin or can I leave it without any moisturizer?
How long should I wait before going back to my normal skin care routine?
Thanks and HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Thanks for the advice. I must ask that same question everytime I do a peel.
It is going well. Thanks. I worked at L'occitane during the hoildays and today was to be my last day, but they asked me to stay on part time. I was very happy they asked me. Now it I can turn it into a full time gig as an assitant or manager or even work my way into corporate that would be a great start.
Thanks for asking and Happy New Year!

Second day after using the 15% peel, I look like I have a mild sunburn and it looks like there will be lots of peeling.

Yay this is great news........well to me anyways. Mild sunburn is exactly how you want it to look. It sounds like you will get a good peel chunch.
did you apply one or two layers of the 15%?

Well, since this was my first time doing a 15% peel (prior peels were at 12.5) I just did one layer and on the crow's feet area I did two layers.
Today my skin is very tight and I assume the peeling will start shortly.
This can get very addictive.

say one did an 8% tca peel, what could they expect from that (peeling, irritation, when can start using cosmetics) would 8% even give ya a peel?

| LOL, yes it can become addictive. Be careful with that though. Doing too many isn't a good thing. If you are spot treating areas this is fine to do every so often. It you are doing a complete face peel, they only recommend 2-3 per year. I normally do 3 myself.
As with your first peel, once that skin turns brown and crinkley, your peeling begin-

| To be honest, I don't think you will get much accomplished with an 8% TCA. You might want to start at 12.5%, but even with that, most people have better results using either 15% or even 18%. Again, you are always better to start off with a lower % and work your way up as long as your skin can tolerate it.
If it were me, I wouldn't use 8% I would start with 12.5%, if you want to see some kind of results. I am not even sure you would be able to get the 8% to even frost.

I started with the 12.5% and got lots O peeling, with the 15% I am peeling much quicker than with the 12.5%.
