You're so sweet Fawnie, thanks. Yes, I have cut back the Retin-A to once every 2-3 days. I also just started some Matrixyl 3000 serum, and Hyaluronic Acid serum from NCN. I've been adding oil to my Xtendlife night cream (rose hip, jojoba, macadamia nut - depends on my mood! ). I'm still searching for a moisturizer that I love (going to try that Mad Hippie Repair Butter next...).
So, do you think the BabyQ would be a worthwhile investment for me, considering my main issue is wrinkles? Thanks again.

Jenny, I would give it time with the RA routine still. You don't want to overwork your skin and it sounds like you're doing enough already!!
Matrixyl 3000 is something that is supposed to help...give us a review!!

I am voraciously reading all the info on the Baby Q. I am so interested in it! I am about to turn 60 in 1 mo. and I simply MUST do something about these lines and sagging. I am so impressed by the wealth of knowledge which is represented on this forum, and I thank you all for sharing!

Cyndi - you look fab in your avatar!! 60 looks good the way you do it!
Have you tried any of the other weapons first, like retin-a (or some other product like that), Vit C serum, sunscreen, facial exercise and massage, and microfiber cloth? Those things are the first line of defense I think. You may not need anything as extreme as the LED lights!!

You look FANTASTIC! You are doing something right. There is a lot to learn here and I will probably get that Baby Q for my 5oth.

BabyQ will sure help, but I think it's just the icing on the cake. You really need to use the basics along with it.....not that you need much *at all* from the looks of it Cyndi!!!

Thank you, everyone! I am always working on my skin, and "looking for that next best thing"! I am using Peter Thomas Roth "Unwrinkle" protocol morning and night, but my
60th Birthday is next month, and I am fighting the aging process with everything I can!!! Question for you beauties: Where is the best place to purchase the Baby Q? I desperately want it, but looking to purchase at the best price possible!

Hi Cyndi
this looks like a good price Baby Quasar Light Therapy - 20% Off Coupon FAB20
free shipping plus you earn points to get free products from them. You can google "baby quasar" and find other places.
Toni09 got a good deal from an elite shopping club. You could PM her for details.
Don't bother with the Silk Serum they sell. Use a green tea infusion before use. It works better.

| | Re: Baby Q Review and Question
Just bought BQ Red and have been using it for just over a month and am happy to report I see results. I've been caring for my skin by using Obagi products, RA and two years ago switched to Tazorac. Obagi sunscreen is the only one that doesn't break out my skin and I use it religiously. I was an avid sunbather from my early 20's into my 40's....unbelievable, but true. My first Melanoma insitu kept me indoors or in the shade and slathering on sunscreen instead of Banana Boat. Now at 62 I feel that I've reversed some of the sun damage and softened the lines with the long term treatment of Obagi, RA, Taz and now BQ Red. The lines around my eyes and mouth are softeneing with just a month's use of the BQ and I suspect I'll see more results with more use. However, I did buy the Silk Serum which I read on another post is unnecessary. You can never do enough research.
So, has anyone used the BQ on wounds or sprains?? If so, what were your results and please share the details on timing and setting.

HI Doglover and welcome!
I'm always happy when someone shares my love for this thing! So glad you love it too!!
I've recently been using a green tea infusion before my treatments since it helps with free radicals. You could mix some green tea extract with the Silk Serum I suspect. This is an interesting article: Study: LED Light And Green Tea Cream Smooth Facial Wrinkles
About sprains/strains. Funny you should mention it, and this is what really told me that the BabyQ is a powerful tool: I once twisted my ankle pretty badly stepping backwards onto an unstable piece of wood and falling onto the ankle and rolling it outward (inverting the foot)- I heard a "pop", lots of pain, iced it but couldn't get home to elevate it until 4 hours after the injury. By then it was starting to swell quite a bit. I used the BQ red on it on the "green" mode for about 30 minutes every day for a week before I got in to see the orthopod. By the time he saw it, xrayed it and examined me, the pain was gone, swelling was gone, no bruise and I was walking on it like nothing had happened! He must've thought I was crazy for coming in, but I just wanted him to confirm that my ankle was perfectly normal. He said from the way I described it, I had probably partially torn/stretched a ligament, but he didn't see any injury whatsoever. So yes, I believe the thing helps with inflammation, pain and healing!
Have you tried it on any injuries?

| Sorry I'm seeing this post now...I purchased Baby Q from Gilt Groupe...it's a shopping club you sign up to that gives you daily specials. It's free~. Anyway I purchased it for $349.00..it included the Pure Silk. I totally love this product. At first I used it but not faithfully....and therefore didn't see any results. But then went back to it because I paid good $$$ for it and decided to give it another go...boy was I blown away. I didn't have any discoloration to my face because I haven't tanned since I was in my 20's and believe me that's all a long time ago. My face looks great. I did have a few dark spots/freckles on my left cheek that have all but disappeared. I have one that I'm still working on but it's so much lighter now. My skin is smoother, plumper and brighter. I also use Vit C daily & green cream(retinol product) every third night...It's probably a combined effort but I have seen great results from Baby Q. Well worth the price for me. BTW Cindi..you look great. An inspirational to me to look great at 60!!!
