| | Baby Q Info
This is some info I received responding to my question about what the best way to clean the bulbs is and what each mode (Green, Orange and Red) is:
"The best way to clean your Baby Quasar is to wipe with alchol.
Each mode has 4 wavelenghts ranging from 632nm to 950nm.
Green light = All 4 wavelengths on at the same time. Red, Amber and
Infrared
Amber light = 4 wavelenghts pulsating. All 4 wavelenghts but they are
pulsating at different times.
Red light = 4 wavelenghts pulsating so fast you cannot see to the naked eye.
If you have any other questions, please let me know and I will be more than
happy to answer them. Happy New Year from the Baby Quasar Family!

I love my BabyQ....the texture of my skin is so much better since using it. Softer, brighter, clearer, and even. I use it twice a week and although pricey, worth it when I compare to what it would have cost me to have specialized treatments through a spa.

What do you feel when using it? Warmth, tingling? How do you know it is working?

I don't feel anything except in the "green mode" when all the bulbs are on at once - that can get a little warm. Otherwise I have to check the bulbs to see if they are on sometimes - they glow red and amber. There is an audible timer that beeps to tell you to move to a different area.
After a treatment my skin looks moister and plumper.

I was very reluctant to purchase this as well....then I found it on sale and thought I would try it. I have to admit it was the best purchase I made. Not everything that is expensive is worth the money but this definitely was.

What attracted me to the BabyQ v AALS (Anti-Ageing Light Stim) was the fact that the LEDs don't touch the skin and are enclosed in an aluminum housing that entraps the light and theoretically concentrates it onto the skin, whereas the AALS's light is scattered. Don't know if this makes a lotta difference but it seems significant to me anyway.
I wouldn't spring for the BabyQ's Silk serum for treatment unless you are a fan of copper peptides, which it contains. CPs can't be used within 12 hours of vit C serums since they conflict with each other.

Does the BabyQ do a good job with wrinkles/fine lines? My biggest complaint are the lines under my eyes (they seem to be becoming more than fine lines lately). If it treats wrinkles really well, I'll probably be buying one tomorrow! |

Jenny, wrinkles and lines aren't caused by just one thing and unfortunately they aren't cured by just one thing either, unless you go for an expensive laser treatment! But this is definitely in my arsenal as one of the Top Guns. It claims to stimulate the cells to produce collagen and elastin - which can help build skin that acts and looks younger. It seems to help me and my skin looks smoother and tighter since I've been using this for 2.5 years now.
You may need microdermabrasion, peels, Botox (or one of the alternatives), Retin-A, Vit C and moisturizer too, depending on the condition of your skin.

I found this site a little over a month ago. Since then I've started using DIY vitamin C serum, Retin-A (started with retinol, then differin, now .025 retin-a), a micro-fiber cloth, Xtendlife moisturizer, and Bioderma sunscreen.
The overall appearance of my skin looks better - clearer, brighter, smother, etc. BUT, the lines under & around my eyes look worse. I think the Retin-A is drying my skin and making them appear worse - hopefully temporarily. Anyway, they are REALLY REALLY bothering me and I feel like I look older now than I did when I started this whole process. I know I just started and need to give it time, but it's kinda scary to see wrinkles getting worse, and wonder if you are doing the right thing....
Anyway, I would do just about anything to make them go away, including buying this machine!

Maybe try a peptide cream under your eyes to tighten the area. You really need to moisturize well with RA I found! It was way too drying for me. Have you tried just using it 3 times a week Jenny? Studies have shown that it's just as effective that way as with using it every night.
Some ppl are having luck with the stevia mask for tightening. Try it under your eyes if you aren't sensitive to it. Moisturize well afterward as it can be drying.
Give it time...you've only been doing this for a little over a month! It can take up to a YEAR to realize the best results from Retin-A!
