Does anyone have any experience with Isomers Skin Care? I watched the shows on ShopNBC this past weekend, and I was tempted, but I am not so sure. I am always looking for that "next great product", and I am learning that the knowledge here is so very valuable. Please let me know what your experience might be!
Thanks! |

I, too, have tried a number of their products, and they did nothing for me.

I'm not sure what the people, who say they tried Isomers products and it didn't work for them, are doing but these products DO work. Perhaps they have not given them enough time. I have been using this product for close to 5 years and I can tell you I am constantly getting compliments on my skin. I just purchased the One 3000 system and I am totally amazed at this line. It is simple to use and I have already noticed results in under two weeks. I was using other Isomers products before and I decided to try this system which is just easier to use. I noticed there was a woman from Sanford, Florida (which is wear I live) who claims it did not work for her. I also noticed that her "blog" is an advertisement for "Dermitage". When I tried to leave the website I got a pop up that said "don't leave" please we will give you a trial offer!. Whatever. Isomers works. Another good skincare line is Elemis by Steiner Leisure.

| I, for one, give products the best chances of working. I do not give a product a few days, a week or two, then, determine, "Oh, it's no good".
I give weeks, months, for products to show some sign of efficacy or change. I also do not try many products at a time - one, maybe two - so I have a better chance of evaluating them. I tried about 9 Isomers products, and overall, did not find them to be especially spectacular, compared to other products and lines out there.
They were hydrating, yes, but that was it. Many of the creams have formulations that contain mostly silicones (I do a lot of label reading) and little actives, and they were not cheap. I did not appreciate paying a lot of money for a bottle of silicones. I can do that, at the drug store.
I did like the Non-Acid Enzyme Peel, but too pricey for what you get, like many of their items, they are overpriced.
Skin care is individual, it's chemistry, and because of this, it is not always easy to find products that will work. It's all about "trial and error".
Those that responded to this thread, who did not think the Isomers products were effective, well, that was their opinion, and most people know how to give a product, its due chance at efficacy.
I am glad they worked for you, though. |

Your absolutely correct, different products work on different faces which is why I provided my opinion that they do work. I completely respect your opinion but I just think a good answer to the question would have been to tell her to try it to see if it will work for her. This is more in tune with your response to me that products work differently on each one of us. I also read labels and take note of the active ingredients and how the ingredients are listed.

Robc7: she asked "any experience with Isomers" we gave her our experience, we try to be honest...................i used it for many months and did nothing for my skin, I have good skin to start with, and everybody is different. I stick with what works for me and that is Vit C and Retin A and a good suncreeen.

| Why would anyone have to say to another person, and I will paraphrase your comment: "try it for yourself, to see if it will work"?
It is fundamental to logic, that each person must try skin care out for themselves, to know if the product(s) will work or not. It is also insulting to the intelligence of the OP, to have to tell her to try the products for herself, because she already knows this.
You seem to assume people have no intelligence, if you have to make a statement to them to "try it to see if it will work".
This is like having to tell someone to "test drive" a new car that they are interested in before buying it. You wouldn't tell the person to test drive the car, because they know they will, ultimately, have to test drive it, to know for themselves.
This is the same with skin care, you don't have to tell someone to "test drive" skin care - it's a given, they must. |

Many people come to these websites for advice BEFORE making a purchase as this person did. Her question was:
Does anyone have any experience with Isomers Skin Care? I watched the shows on ShopNBC this past weekend, and I was tempted, but I am not so sure. I am always looking for that "next great product", and I am learning that the knowledge here is so very valuable. Please let me know what your experience might be!

---Not everyone "test drives" skin care before purchasing it (many people don't even test drive cars). People ask advice about products all the time to see if they should purchase them. Look, the difference is between advice and opinion. She clearly did not try the product but was debating if she should. She came to the website for advice. Based on two opinions offered by two individuals who may have completely different skin than she does, I believe she decided not to try it. This product may have been a great product for her skin but she will never know because of two negative opinions that were simply "I tried it and it didn't work for me". Your long explanation regarding why you should not tell someone to try something makes absolutely no sense. You are telling me that you should not tell people to try something because they will do it anyway and it is an insult to their intelligence to tell them to try something. Why did she come to this website and ask about the product if, according to your logic, she should have already known to try it? This makes no sense.
