Unhappy eye wrinkles?

Hi guys, well I'm only 21 years old so one would think I shouldn't have problems with eye wrinkles but everyone in my family seems to get wrinkles really early.

I have noticed that over the past few months I got a lot of wrinkles (which might be due to my weight loss as well...). My skin is oily and breaks out easily. Nevertheless I use a light moisturizer day and night (day: Clean&Clear Norning Glow, Night: St. Ives Elastin moisturizer). My skin feels better ever since I started using moisturizers however the wrinkles under my eyes seem to get worse. When I apply make-up, eveyrthing gets "caught" right in my wrinkles: the foundation, powder, eyeshadow... it's frustrating.

I wanted to ask you if you have any advice on how to reduce these wrinkles? I understand that being only 21 I shouldn't be using any anti-aging products. But is there something else I can use instead?

Any advice will be GREATLY appreciated!

Re: eye wrinkles?

I am much older than you, but I have found that when I eat healthy and drink alot of water, my wrinkles are much less noticeable. My entire skin becomes more soft and healthy looking. At your age, I would focus on proper diet and sun protection. This will help you the most in the long run.

Re: eye wrinkles?

Lancome high resolution. That's what my boyfriend bought me for my birthday. I don't know if it works on wrinkles, but it defintely makes my under eyes brighter. whether it is worth the 100 bucks? I don't know.

Re: eye wrinkles?

I still personally use the age old trick of vasaline, pull and add heat from a hairdryer, sure it's only worth a day of fix, but no product will permantently erradicate eye wrinkles. Use the normally vasaline, not the mint kind! Good Luck.

Re: eye wrinkles?

Stay out of the sun and use sunscreen consistently. Wrinkles at a young age around the eyes are almost ALWAYS caused by sun exposure or repetitive facial movements. This may mean you're smiling a lot which is a great thing but it does have an impact on creating lines on the face.

Hi there!

Do make sure that you wear a good sunscreen. It saves your skin from premature aging. You also need to make sure that you are taking lots of fluid before going out in the sun.
Eat healthy. Tired skin and eyes are more prone to wrinkles...so make sure you get a good 7-8 hrs of sleep.
You can use a good eye cream or gel. Spa products are really good for this problem as i've used them myself. Or else you can go for clinique or similar end products if you want to spend the extra bucks.
Hope this helps.
