First of all I want to welcome all of the new members to Skin Care Talk (or SCT for short)! It's great to see people joining, contributing and participating in discussions.

Please ensure that when you are posting, you try to stay on-topic and provide responses/questions that contribute to the subject of the thread. You are welcome to start threads in the "off-topic" forum for general chat, gossip, etc.

Information, articles and postings on SCT should not be considered as 'medical advice'. Our members can offer you opinions, personal experiences and suggestions, however, their responses should not replace or be a substitute for the medical advice of a doctor.

We also do not tolerate advertising on the forums. You may not post falsified testimonials, self-endorsements, marketing literature, or ask members to 'email' or 'contact you' for product information. Members who try to sell products and/or services via the forums or PMs will have their accounts revoked. Links to personal blogs/websites belong in your profile and are not allowed in postings or your signature. Multiple usernames and purposely masking your IP address through the use of proxies is also prohibited. In order to reduce the amount of spam on the forums, new members are not allowed to immediately post links or send private messages. And finally, any postings that are disrespectful, unlawful, racist, obscene, or simply in bad taste will be removed. SCT is a public forum with members of all ages so postings should be kept "PG". Moderators and admins of SCT have the right to remove/edit any posting as deemed necessary. If you read a posting that violates a forum rule, please report it to us by clicking the report post icon. The icon looks like this () and appears under the poster's username.

By following these simple rules, we can continue to make SCT a great online community for all of our members. Now that we got all that harsh stuff out of the way, let's get to the good stuff...
