Skin care regime help.

I think i look after my skin really well but i just wondered if there was anything i could do any better because my skin is still quite blotchy and i have blocked pores etc..

On a morning i apply Priori sunscreen, Priori perfection face gel and clearasil moisturiser..

&&

On a night i use clearasil cleanser toner and moisturiser and some more Priori perfection face gel.

Usually about once a week i use a face mask, a microdermabrasion kit and a teatree nose strip [ on my chin aswel ]

And then about every fortnight or so i apply Aquaphor before bed.

Any help would be appreciated. thanks

Re: Skin care regime help.

So you use aquaphor as your night time moisturizer like once every two weeks?
Has your skin been really dry?

I would say if your skin has been okay with your regular moisturizer skip the aquaphor - as far as I recall that stuff is super greasy (I'm pretty sure my nurse friend told me they use it for burn victims because it's so moisturizing.) I cld be off base here, so I apologize if I haven't got my facts straight.

Have you ever tried a glycolic face mask? I've been using one lately and it really leaves my skin absolutely glowing. Perhaps give it a shot. Maybe you can go to the local beauty store and ask if they'll let you sample one before you buy, just to make sure.

Hi,

You seem to be taking very good care of your skin. Then how come your skin still feels blotchy?

Make sure all the products that you use are water based and oil-free. Oily skin needs moisture but no extra oil. Also, make sure you exfoliate your skin twice a week so as to slough off dead skin cells off the skin surface.

Good luck!

Re: Skin care regime help.

You can get a free skin consultation at organicskinboutique.com. It's kind of like that new skin id consultation that's been advertised, but it's for all skin types not just acne prone.

Re: Skin care regime help.

It's by Ren. It's called the Glycolactic Peel. I think it's for all skin types (sensitive skin would probably want do a test patch before applying to entire face.)

It's not so much a peel as a mask. It never completely dries, so you rinse/wipe off with a washcloth.
