recommendation for a new blow dryer

I have had 2 already blow out on me. I need to find a more reliable one.

I think that Conair is pretty good. Btw, what's your ethnicity?

Re: recommendation for a new blow dryer

I'm not sure which ones my mom has but they work well! I'll ask. I only blowdry if I need to dry my hair in a hurry bcuz of the heat thats not good for the hair. You can use a heat sealant or protective spray before hand to help protect against heat.

I have a con air ionic blow dryer & I love it.
I also use a ceramic brush. It helps to keep the hair from buring & drying out. It seems to help keep the frizzies down also.

I know that the salon type ones are really good but also very expensive. Have you tried Sally Beauty? or another beauty store that sells salon quality blow dryers? I saw this new Conair one that I really want to try. It has a comb like attachment that helps blow your hair straight. I have curly hair but would like to see it straight sometimes.

I got the conair ionic as well. I highly recommend it if you don't want to spend too much.

Re: recommendation for a new blow dryer

Well, the cheaper ones kinda tend to blow out faster and don't get as hot. I usually spend around a $100 bucks or more on the ones I buy which is 1 bcuz it still hasn't blown out... and the heat is still the same temp.

I love the T3 tourmaline. Its pretty expensive but it dries your hair in half the time of a "standard" blow dryer and leaves your hair super soft and healthy without heat damage. I've had mine for about a year without any problems.

I use low emf hair dryers. You can buy them online.

two suggestions

I am a hairstylist and I know that the Solano and T-3 Tourmalane are my favorite. My T-3 I have now has been better than the first two. They have changed the style some. My first two kept shorting out but so far this one has been good. It dries much faster, is light weight, and seems to give more body to the hair. The Solano was a great dryer, it lasted me almost 7 years working all day long five days a week. I don't know if they have changed much or not, I would say the only complaint I had was that it was heavy, but that was 10 years ago. They still are rated the best from Hairstylist. Both are pricey but last way longer and do so much better for your hair. Hope this helps.

hot tools! but i think any blow dryer with the right accessories should help you minimize the amount of time you are using it thereby extending its life

There was a myth that blow dryers are responsible for receding hair line.

what a joke
