I love Ojon! I have several types of shampoos, have tried many. This stuff just makes my hair shiny, bouncy, and healthy looking every time I use it. Now I am trying KRONOS and I like it as well. Got the same results. It was on sale at Dermstore.com and I had to try it. So I will probably go back and forth on these two products depending on which one is on sale when I run out.

Ojon is great but so costly and my fav product the revitalizing mist always comes with a half full bottle@! i hate it makes me feel ripped off. But i also use their conditioner, dry shampoo, and masque which leaves my hair so soft, its amazing.

Ojon is an excellent product line. Ojon is also the least expensive in use. A bottle of Conditioner and Shampoo last me about a year. These products are so concentrated, that I store them upside down so they dispense easily. On my last trip to high altitude (from 250 feet to about 5000 feet), I placed the bottles upright in my luggage. After getting to our destination, I placed them back on their caps for a day- The product was so thick that even after a day in the hotel when I opened them I had a fountain! I had to shut them quickly and beat the product down to release pressure!!!!) I use both the Hydrating and Thickening Shampoo/Conditioner and the Shine & Protect Shampoo/Conditioner in addition to both other Ojon Products (SWA, etc) and also the Phyto line.
The key to remember- Less is more with these products!! Dispense a small amount (about the size of a dime or a quarter) into your hand. Rub your hands together to spread the Ojon and work up a lather. Then- For shampoo- Start at the crown of your head working the shampoo out from the roots to the tips- For the conditioner- Work it into the lower 6 inches of your hair and work from the tips towards the roots. Massage the product in. Give your scalp a good massage- be gentle to your hair.
Time- Leave the product on for about 3 minutes plus before rinsing. Towel dry your hair. Then use the Ojon hair "Palmaide". Rub your fingers in the "Palmaide", then rub your hands together working it over your hands. Then begin to work it into your hair starting from the tips to the roots (Remember that the roots get the most oils from your scalp!). Then comb the product through your hair starting from the lower 6 inches to get any tangles out. I believe you will be pleased with the results. (Credit these tips to Suga from Sephora who introduced me to these products about 1 1/2 years ago- Incredibly knowledable!)
Another product that has a very good line is Phyto. I use Phytophanere supplements to grow and thicken my hair. My hair grows about 9 plus inches a year! They also make Phytocitrus shampoo and mask which lock color into your hair but that will be a later subject.

If I conditioner-only wash, but have dry hair (I am keeping my hair salt & pepper, with the gray increasing), which Ojon conditioner do you think would be best for my hair?

| Hi Christian,
welcome to the site!
I was wondering where you get the Phytophanere supplements from and are they expensive?

I tried both the shine and the hydrating. Love the hydrating of the two! I've never gotten so many compliments on my hair.

I use the Hydrating Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner and my hair is soft and looks to be in good condition even though I regularly dye it.
About once a month I put the Ojon Restorative Hair treatment in it. This is the Ojon in it's purest form. I leave it on for a few hours before shampooing, or else overnight.
My hair is down to my waist and I'm no spring chicken but it is in pretty good shape!!
I'm interested in trying the supplements Christian mentioned too though as I don't take anything for my hair and nails.

| Magnesium laureth sulfate is used for shampoos made for sensitive people. So some sulfate or not so drying to the scalp.
