Do You Put Gel Around Hairline???

I put gel around hairline to make it look better. Have you done that before? Also, what other tips do you have about using gel on your hair?

My favorite gel--AMPRO SUPER

Re: Do You Put Gel Around Hairline???

No. Gel makes my hair hard and I hate hard hair. I might use a pomade or wax of some sort to control frizz or hold a piece of hair in place though. Plus, I wash my hair too often and wear it down most of the time... How does it make your hairline look better though? You should see my hairline/ sideburn thingies! It's sooo hairy! Whenever I go to get my eyebrows done, they always tell me I need to get that part done too.

I prefer to use SlickStuff to gel my hair or edges down when necessary. It does not dry to a "crisp" like most styling gels, it's adds sheen to the hair, and it's easy to wash out. Oh, and it has a pleasant smell.

I try not to get gel around my hairline b/c it always ends up breaking me out in that area.

Bed Head makes some great stuff for use on those tiny unruly hairs around the hair line.

Let me try again, the topic just so freaked me out. I don't like gel because my hair breaks with it. Not a fan.
