Wow, I had also used palms coco butter, didnt work for me. I suppose gonna have to go for more expensive stuff.. Well one problem at a time, at the moment its skin lightening. Also I have purchased a microneedle roller and that work on the principle of creating 'wound' which attracts a supply of blood containing collagen and things required for the healing of skin. But of course you dont see any blood or anything, and its not painful at all, all you see is a redness of the skin therefore best to do this at night. It makes the skin thicker and healtheir. I use the 1.0mm neddle, I do have a 1.5mm needle, but I think its a bit too long. The 0.5mm needle is so harmless, you can be watching TV and rolling it over whatever areas you want without feeling any discomfort.
It has been used for post pimple scars, wrinkles, stretch marks, has a lot of indications. I bought a pack of 5 for £55.
Thanks and take care, all the best!!

I had gotton laser treatments for my stretch marks and I can't say it did too much. I only went about 3 times though and you have to go for about 1 year. It's really expensive also.

Bio Oil is a great product I have used it for scars and it really does treat the area and helps the body heal. I agree stretch marks are genetic so your skins elasticity matters. I work in an obstetric hospital and some women with massive tummy's can no stretch marks and others with small bellys get loads of them. Who know why but if you get them early with bio oil and even stivectin I think it helps to reduce the severity and appearance.

I've just remembered to give you guys the name of the product I buy from Macrovita for stretch marks.......can you believe it's called Stretch Marks Cream :-)
I really can't recommend it enough. I love the product and it's made from organically cultivated ingredients - most of the Macrovita products are - I first found it whilst on holiday in Greece.

Have you tried a combination of rose hip + jojoba oil + vitamin E oil + frankincense and neroli essential oil?

Guys,guys.. Those creams are good-YES,Vitamin E and skin butters.BUT- they are good to PREVENT and dont really reverse, once u get stretch marks,unless-they are forming right now,and u've noticed them in that process..These are elastic tissues in the skin, which are stretched-to the point of ripping and cant really go back.. yeah,i know -is not a good feeling,i got sm too .The best is-to massage cream onto the skin while-pregnant,losing or gaining weight

I heard that Vicks vaporub was a remedy for this but i don't think it's good for anything skin-related except for mosquito bites. I have heard that some dermatologists offer a procedure where they use these rollers with rows upon rows of needled on em and then prick the affected area. They say this promotes cellular growth, basically scarring on the old scars but an even and more smooth scar at that. *shrugs*

I've found that strivectin works on newly formed stretch marks, and cocobutter and babyoil andddd constantly using a rough loofa to exfoliate the areas work to diminish the appearance however they havent totally faded because theyre so deep. I'm thinking of taking up this needling thing |

Has anyone tried a chemical dermabrassion; peel on the stretchmarks? I know first hand they are nasty and my torso is covered. I went from 90 lbs to 162 lbs when I got pregnant- If I knew then what I know now! Maybe I'll give it a try just to see if that could help, even if it doesn't take them away completely, it would be nice to wear shorts again!

Well I did do it once, twice, last month. Not sure that there is a BIG difference but there is a difference. I think the Strivection works on new skin, not the old scar, ...and with the way I was exfoliating the scars..... you would think I was sanding down a car at a body shop for a paint job. But like I said there was a difference. Doing it again today to see.

Prevention is the KEY but unfortunately many don't think about it until it's to late.
The become lighter as they age but won't go away completely
When you have a darker skin tone, maybe try a lightening lotion.
