u should use bio-oil!
2ce daily.... i've bn using it 4 about 3months nw and mine are really fading away!

I wonder if these products actually work, of if the stretch marks fade on their own??? I am soooooo wary of topical products that say they will fade stretch marks since it is tissue that is basically TORN. I'm not knocking anybody for trying remedies.

If it actually works, fine... but I'm SO wary of these products.

Good stuff Lordm! I've tried Bio-oil 2 bottles of the stuff and nothing, but my scars are
20 yrs old! Big and silver looks like an animal attacked me. Well for a while I looked into Trilastin as suggested, but cannot get it up here in the stix, So I went for broke ....I broke down and spent my Shopper's drug mart points and got the Strivectin DS at 225.00$ I started it on Saturday (even for my wrinkles, age spots, discoloration) and I can't explain how, but FREAKIN' WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! the deep ridges on my thighs hips and stomach arefilling in, (pregnancy mask is dramatically fading! I had ordered the Anew stretch mark cream from Avon as well, l"m trying it on one thigh to see which that is if one really does the job!

stretch marks are impossible to get rid of entirely, but there are laser treatments you can get to help fade them, or if thats too expensive you can try revitol stretch mark cream .

oh you can use this make up called dermablend to help cover it up.

Well, I am not a patient woman whatsoever, and I've tried all sorts of cream to help diminish the look of my stretchmarks. The nly thing that seems to work for mine is the Strivectin DS, the scars are a lot less deep and are"blurring" into the surrounding normal skin, as for my wrinkles- well I thought that it wasn't doing much, but I saw my family physician yesterday, and he asked me what I've been doing because he thinks I look ten yrs younger. Now when I cleaned my face last night I took out the old magnifying mirror and sure as heck the lines are filling up and not as severe as they once were. Wow, it might be very expenssive but it really does seem to work for me. If you stop to consider that it takes on average 28 days for cell turn-over time, and I haven't been using it yet for a full month I am doing pretty darn good!!!!
As for the dermablend it could work to hide stretchmarks if they are not deep goughess like mine are, I have that stuff and I use it to hide my tatoo when I want to.

I say to give 100% unrefined shea butter a try. It's much better than cocoa butter. Make sure the one you get is 100% unrefined shea butter and not refined shea butter which doesn't have all of the healing properties. This might not totally eliminate your stretch marks but it can drastically reduce the appearance of stretch marks. You must be diligent and apply at least twice a day, every day. Also, give it time, nothing works overnight. Worked for me.

I hate to say it, but I've tried the "unrefined shea butter" a while back it did absolutely nothing for me. A lot of people forget that what works on one person may not work on the other. I'm still going strong with the Strivectin DS and still seeing some results (FINALY!!!!!) Instead of having an eleven in my forehead, now I barely have a 1, the crowe's feet aren't as deep - they are blurring just like the stretchmarks. I only seriously look at them once a week so I can see a big difference. The stuff maybe expenssive but it's working wonders for me!

Exactly. Not everything works for everyone. Strivectin was a total waste of money for me. Unrefined shea butter is just an option and a much cheaper one at that.

I have a client( I am a master esthetician) that seen fantastic results with the following treatment: she pretreated with Retin A (.25, I think) for 4 weeks then we began a series of lactic peel/ microdermabrasion treatments. She has ceased using the retin-a, and uses a gycolic body wash and moisturizers with Strivectin. We have completed 3 treatments results look very promising, she will probably need another series of 3 and then maintaince plan, but so far so good!

Yep I know what you mean, not every thing works for everybody, - but I'm really happy with what is going on with my stretch marks. Every week, I notice it slowly getting better- less and less visible. I wonder if dermabrassion would help speed it up? Maybe I'll give that a try.

mine were cured (or rather effects were minimised) with cocoa butter. dr palmers is the brand i used. it worked for me!

I to have got bad stretch mark on my lower back and tried all kind of creams but none of them worked....

Then i opted for tatoos it did hide my marks but not completly....I think surgery might help us....
