I hate my stretch marks! Anybody know how to get rid of them? - Page 3

Use Bio Oil it works. Takes a longtime but hey with the kind of tear stretch marks causes, i don't think there is any magical cream out there. I used bio oil for my pregnance and i only got 2 stretch marks, and it is because this area was a problem to reach! I love Bio Oil, even tho u have to be a loyal user. Good luck

Jganer, I have been intrigued with Mico-Needling, I'm excited to finally find someone who has used this method successfully, can you please explain what your stretch marks looked like and what your routine was and what products you used. My stretch marks are from breast augmentation about 6 years ago, they are white and hideous, I need a fix. Please help! Thanks

Ok so lots of the deep ridges from the stretch marks are filled in now however the stri vectin seems to be at a stand still. I tried doing the home dermabrassion twice, there was some differences but I think I have to kick it up a notch and start doing it more frequently ( I was lazy about it and did once every 2 weeks, gonna try it once a week. See what kinda of difference that will make.

Try the stevia.... it costs pennies...what do you lhave to loose?

I know how it feels: horrible. I had stretchmarks for 5 years (since the pregnancy) and tried everything and nothing worked. Until a friend of mine got stretch marks after a boob job and got rid of them. I couldn't believe it. She told me about a cream she used. I really didn't believe in creams anymore but when I saw how it helped her I bought it although it was expensive (165). I applied it every morning and night and today I can no longer see my stretch marks. It took six weeks. I don't know what is different in this cream but it worked for me and in the mean time for all my girlfriends. I don't know if I can mention the cream on this site because I don't want to be kicked out of the site. If you want to know aske me and I'll tell you. I'm soo happy and so are my friends.

Try Dr. Bellin cream, it works. It was expensive but my stretch marks are gone.

I think with lotions, you have to do trial and error. I remember long time ago, I used Cocoa Butter;the one in the yellow bottle at drug stores. I applied twice a day and in 3 days they were nearly GONE! But they were faint and new anyways. Doubt it would have a significant effect on old or deep stretchmarks. I think the best thing to do is exfoliate refularly so newer skin can come in, maintain your weight, keep your skin moisturized with cocoa butter/shea butter/vitamin E. And try to use Retina A; it seems promising but would be expensive if you have a lot of stretchies. Last restort, you can get a laser to renew the skin.

It def. is genetics, some people get it, some don't. My weight goes up and down so that's how I got them. I have another friend who goes up and down and has none. And it's not a fat thing either, skinny people get them too. I have my friend who is petite, a size 4/6. And she has stretch marks all down her thighs, I was like

There is a new treatment called StarLux, it is offered in some spas. It is a bit expensive but it works. If you have the money you should give it a try.

I would never put a tattoo over it. One day you wantto take that off..Try what I did, Dr. Bellin's cream. It worked. I thought it wouldn't but it did and I can no longer see the stretch marks and actually show my belly again..
I got the cream on swissskinrepair.com site. It was expensive (165) but it worked. I'm so so happy.

Bio Oil made my skin beautifully soft but did not get rid of my stretch marks but Dr. Belli's cream did get finally rid of them after only five weeks of twice a day application. I still have half of the tube and now use it once a week to make sure they are not coming back. Although I don't know if that is necessary.

my stretch marks were about five years old from when I was pregnant. I was so surprised that it worked because people were telling me that there is nothing that works on old stretch marks. And from experience I tried everything from when they were new and throughout the five years. It was horrible and then this new cream. I love to tell everybody because I know how horrible it is to live with them. On their website, they have before and after pictures, one shows a woman with I think more than 15 year old stretch marks. That gave me hope and it really worked and I am still free of them. And the cream spreads very easily and doesn't smell. I didn't even use the full tube.

from what I understand there are no guarantees with the laser .... and considering how bad or deep some of mine were...there is no way I'd go for that- they would have had to gorge my skin- and lots of it. So far with the stevia treatments and the rose serum I think I'm doing pretty good. The scars aren't half as deep by far ( don't look like I was attacked by a wild animal anymore and some lines are blurring into the normal skin.

I've read that Retin-A, lasers, microdermabrasion and chemical peels are all treatments for striae.

I have heard that some chemical peels in concentrated strengths are able to remove stretch marks like TCA 50% or 100%. You would have to research this carefully however.
