I'd think TCA 50% or 100% would be too painful for anyone to do at home.

...I'd imagine it would have to be done under some anesthesia in a Dr office. Do you know anything about this shalicia?

I have wicked ones all down my bum and thighs from growing at a very fast pace as a teenager and they have faded since I've started using Palmers cocoa butter moisteriser. The origional is best - cheap, cheerful and smells like chocolate - yum!!! You can even buy the spf 15 for summer time, it really has helped fade their appearance but like many people have said, those suckers will never really go away. My advice for summer - find a friend with more stretch marks than you and hit the beach! Ha ha!!!!

Fawnie, I tried the 18% at two layers on my stretch marks and it had no effect at all- I left it on for 20 minutes..... no peelling, no pain and not even red... So I'm not so sure that the 50% would be that painful- not to sure I would want to be the one to try it though... But this afternoon when I get back from town- I'm trying something new....
light sanding, stevia mixed with manuka honey- saran wrap, then wrap in brace ... after a couple of hors dmae cream... See if I can step up my game a little!

I have white stretch marks on my hips. Im not sure y i have white stretch marks cuz most ppl have dark stretch marks. anyone else have this problem????

You are right. It's only for persons who know what they're doing! If you don't have much experience with peels its best to seek out a facility that does and let them handle it.

Can they all just be cut out and the skin stitched back together? I know tummy tuck, but people obviously get them all over the body.

I have talked to more than one doctor about getting rid of stretch marks and there is no way but cutting them away.
As time passes the scars will lighten to a silvery color.
I have used the bio oil and it did nothing as well as strivectin, cocoa butter etc... save your money.
The best way is to prevent them. I tried with cocoa butter but had a alergic reaction.
I seen a girl that made an attempt to cover them with a tatoo and ewe it wasn't pretty.

Hmmm I just googled this product and looked at some before and after photo's and it's impressive but I appears it's lightening the skin. Did you find it actually repaired the torn skin?

get a spary tan to hide bad stretch marks if on a big night out for a quick fix ,but long term they do fade but u cd try the new laser treatments which fade em over like 6sessions ,ive used vit e tabs break em and apply striaght to the skin and its worked bio oil is another gd 1

I have them from puberty, and I think we're stuck with them. I have talked to a plastic surgeon and dermatologist's office about this. I know, you would think with all the technology, they could do something about this.

I also had really dark stretch marks, my Sisters friend told me to use Gentle Magic with Glycerine and its worked wonders the marks are fading...

No cream will totally help never the less you can tone down theire color and reduce theire appearance so they blend more with the skin ..I've had years of goin from one to another some where just perfect some did damage my pocket with no results yet u have to know what worked for me might not work for u. Here is some names might help you to find what u need.
Stertch Redux, my Boy friend sware by it so do I, he have marks under the arms round the belly & on the sides of his thighs.. It's easy to apply & you can use it under any cream or lotion so that is something to consider
Rodial stetch mark Eraser, worked wonders with me but not with my Boy Freind.
Biotherm Biovergetures stretch marks smoothing concentrate, Mum love it i don't.
Strivectin, Sister love it hurt my pocket month after month with no result.

But the most important is to exfoliate these areas regularly I use Roc body expert system it has micro -crystals use before the shower i have to say that is a must every couple of month regime also any body lotion or cream with a boost of caffeine do tend to help alot to stimulate renewing the celles by increasin blood circulation so it reach ur damaged cells ,keepin these Areas hydrtaed is a key for a healthy toned look so don't forget that. I find usein a bit of your fav, oil (not a heavy one) as a last wash before u get out of the shower(rinse the excesse) always do the trick

I had some white strech marks on my hips and butt, my grandmother told me to exfoliate with a mis of olive oil and sugar once a week giving a strong massage, and to put on them grape seed oil, leave it for 30 minutes and cover it with vaseline after the 30 minutes had gone. Do it at morning and night.

I did not think it would work after trying to many lotions, but seem like after 5 months is working, i can barely see those ugly strech marks anymore.

I must add my strech marks was white but not very big.

You may use products like Clarin's Stretch Mark control or Jojo E Concentrate...they worked well with almost all of my aunt who gave birth (not just once but 2 or 3 times)...if they had stretchmarks, am sure i haven't seen them or just mislook them...

You may also try using milk + cocoa butter...do this before

time...you may want to apply milk first then after 5mins or so apply cocoa butter...leave it on overnight...rinse off in the morning with milk bath..im sure that in maybe a month you will get whatever results you are expecting..

Really? I have been thinking of covering my stretch mark on my breast and arm with a tatoo. How big is your tatoo and how big are your stretch marks?
