Keloid Scar problem and its solution?

Hi all..
i have a keloid scar between my breast and ironically it occurs not because of after surgery or what but it is from a little pimple or scratch and its getting bigger now and it worries me much

I went to a doctor but the doctor said there is no specific medication on it. She said if i want to remove it totally i have to do a surgery but it has 50% chances for the keloid getting bigger after the surgery.

Then i started to find a scar care products that at least reduce the thing. Through my searching i found Mederma and Dermatix.
Like to know opinions on this 2 products. Does it really works?
Just wanna have some reviews from experience user before i start to choose and apply it or is there any natural solution to get rid of this keloid?

Thanks

Re: Keloid Scar problem and its solution?

hmm i went for an advise from a surgery doctor the other day and he recommend me CICA CARE Adhesive Gel sheet for scar treatment. And i am trying it now. The approximate time for heal is about 2-4 months. If u want to know more bout that product i will be glad to share it here.

But its still under treatment so i cannot review much on how well it works. I just started to use it yesterday. But one thing for sure it is a self adhesive gel sheet, soft and simple to apply and remove.

Re: Keloid Scar problem and its solution?

I have used both Mederma and Dermatix on a scar on my arm (rather a large one) and I have to say that I didn't see any improvement. I used the Dermatix longer than the Mederma (about 2 tubes) and the Mederma (1 tube).

Medical grade silicon sheets, I used this on my c-section scar and it is completely gone.

Re: Keloid Scar problem and its solution?

Hi Ladies: I have two scar sites on the soles of my feet following surgery (one on each foot) I now have a keloid build which needs bi-weekly treatment which is very painful and I have bought the Emla+dressings as advised by you - now onto preventative measures anyone had any success with silicone gel treatments, epi-derm,scarAway,cica-care: willing to try anything but I'm not sure where to start. Many thanks. L

Re: Keloid Scar problem and its solution?

hello everyone,
im new to this site and got directed here by miss fawnie. my keloid is just like icute's...across the chest and it started from a small scratch that i got from bouldering eons ago. im going to try cica-care as suggested by icute and see how it goes...well at least, before i go for a surgery.
