I am thinking of using something liquid instead though. I have read that the sponge can actually pickup and spread bacteria around on your skin causing breakouts. I have not had any bad breakouts since my teenage years, but I do get one every now and then.
MAC is the best but I kinda hate it when I go to get my color matched. Like I said before, I have sensitive skin that is easily irritated so when they tell me to clean my face with one of the wipes they have, it gets reddish. I could be leaning my forehead on my knuckles for a couple of seconds and the area will turn red. I have to change foundation often because my skin color changes. You know the lighting in the store and mall are horrible and they always seem to get my color wrong. They always give me a color that's too dark! It's weird because when I put on my foundation, after a few hours of wearing it, it will get darker. I guess its because of the oil in my skin.
Aloette Ultra Finish. I used to be a liquid makeup kinda gal. but once I tried the mineral foudation I was hooked. It takes care of so much at once.
Foundation, concealer, SPF15 (natural SPF's) & powder finish.
It is quick, easy, feel like I am wearing nothing & it is actually Good For My Skin foundation
JANE IREDALE. you have to search for locations that actually sell it cuz it is so hard to find, but her mineral foundation is a pressed powder that you set with a spray and the finish is gorgeous. it looks so natural and smooth!
Well, everyone here seems to like MAC. However the one i use is bareessentials mineral powder foundation. This appears to be great for my skin. My pores actually get smaller, and my face is less oily when i use this.
Yes,bare escentuals mineral foundation is great,i find it makes my pores look smaller too, great for summer.I use estee lauder doublwear light on a night out as it lasts well.
hmm, never have used mac. I use Dior Skin Fluide in shade 200 and I absolutely love it. It's so light and makes my skin feel so nice afterwards. Then for touch-ups I use the Chanel Shine Control powder in beige, which is great b/c it has SPF15. i spent a fortune (i actually really don't even have the money for stuff like this) but i consider it a good investment
I hear you guys...about the money thing....man, it must be an addiction or no....we just prefer what we prefer and sometimes you do pay for what you get. There should be a group or something....overspenders anonymous (j/k).
How do you feel the coverage is on these? See I have past scars and need some coverage, yet want it to look natural. I'm loving my EDM....alot more....finally plunged and bought a full size (haven't got it yet....still skimping on my samples).
Oh and with my skin being extremely oily....I need oil control as well....without over drying. I trust your input though....cuz I know you are ultra sensitive like me.
Oh and as for Jane Iridale....I just may have to go try it sometime!
the best foundation EvER is from Jane Iridale! i have tried other one's but they dont match my skin tones as well as Jane Iridale does. It's expensive but it's worth it, and its good for your skin- so you dont have to feel guiltly about wearing it
I have 2 that I really love. One is BE Minerals and the other is Face Atelier foundation. I don't always like using liquid foundation on my skin so I only use it on special occassions since it gives such a flawless look. My everyday foundation is BE and I really love it alot.
I used to use BE all the time, then Arbonne came out with their version so I've been using that. I love MMU and prefer it because it does give great coverage and yet feel like you don't have anything on. I tried Aromaleigh but broke out everytime I put it on, so I tossed it.
Spazzyjazz - have you tried the liquid Jane Iredale MMU? I'm curious - always have been on trying that brand next.
