Hey teddy, I have done few laser treatments , PDT, PDL etc in the past. I would ask you to give it a couple of days rest before you go on to peels.

Please let us know how your IPL turn out. Before after pic would be great too.
    Good Luck.

Nobody said it'd be easy they just promised it'd be worth it

sure sure i would surely update you all, with my b4 and after pics... @indianskin:even i had undrgone few lasers like Qswitch and greendye.,but frankly telling, i had horrible time with that...burnt 2 time, was a nightmare, but i'm looking forward to this IPL thing... nd u said that we should give our skin time after these procedure, then why the doctor told me that he's gonna do 35percent glyco peel right after ipl... You know after being burnt and having hard times with the derms their in the clinic,i'm reluctant to rely upon even the best derm.... The trend here in india is just to make quick money....they forget that they are doctor...its very shameful.

Teddy, Dont get stressed about it, I am sure you'll be fine.
Probably the IPL might not be of high intensity, and that is why your derm suggested so. Even then , I would ask you to listen to your skin and if you are feeling any discomfort or burning sensation, you could always tell your doctor to do the peel after 2 or 3 days. Better to be safe than sorry.

guys m very much broken... i cant tell how i feel when i look myself in the mirror..I almost cry....,,people here judge you with how good you look, and just because of that i stay inside always,i dont mingle with peoples,i am living very secluded life.... my girl doesnt talk to me any more.. n i feel....

that Fu**ing(sorry i cant control) derm says that i have melasma..then if i have melasma, how come my whole face is darker than my body..here's a pic

you can see how pale I'm below neck and i want the same tone on my face.....

Aww calm down Teddy. Looks like you might have 2 issues: a permatan from the neck up with some melasma patches on the side of your face. Since you just had something done in the doctor's office, just let your face rest for a few days. Wash with gentle cleanser like Cetaphil and protect your face and neck with Neosporin and a zinc oxide based sunblock at all times. When things have settled and your face is not tender or sore, move on to a gentle lightening regime for your neck and face.

I have light case of melasma and I have a regimen that has been successfully treating it along with a permatan on my arms..and I have lightened up 3 shades in a month. Your problem can be easily fixed...if all you have to worry about evening out is face and neck. I think that's easier than trying to even out the body. You just have to be patient and use the right products for your particular skin issues. PM me if you want some more info on my regime.

Teddy, I am so sorry to hear that. You know what, I have been there, running from one derm to another, spending all my money on treatments. Now I feel, I know better from SCT.
Your problem could be fixed in 2 months. Now dont do anything for next 1 week, just moisturize.

I am seeing great results from Obagi ad Sure White and Retin A - Just a thought.
Anyways good luck for your exams. And don't feel any inferior, you know you are better than that.

Poor you, I know how much it hurts when you go to see a doctor to help your problems and you walk away feeling even worse. Good luck, keep calm, in a few months you won't even believe how far you've come from this moment.
    WOW, Fantastic Baby.
