I have been searching this forum and can't seem to any concrete information in regards to layering weekly lactic acid peel (44%) on back of hand and joints as well as on your toes and feet and just the rest of your body. I don't know if I should layer the lactic acid peel all over body or just apply a single layer??? As far as the hands and finger go, is the peel being layered? and how long are you all leaving it on for???
Not my first time with acids at all, I have used TCA and Glycolic but I am curious about Lactic Acid. I haven't used lactic acid enough, I just want information on the things I asked though and I can't seem to get a straight answer.
Just apply one layer let it sit for five minutes then rinse off as you become accustomed to it then increase the time. 44% is fine. That's what I used for my hands and joints but I am now using 65%.
Agree with what Moon Maiden said, apply one layer leave on for 3-7 mins, rinse with soap and water. If after weekly peels you want to increase the % of your LA peel, then do so. But do give it a few faithful weekly peels at 44% before moving up. I use 40% LA with no problem. Where did you get 44% from?
