Rep Power: 18   | umbrella for sun protection?
Do any of you hold an umbrella during the daytime to shield yourselves from the sun? I've seen some asian women with very light skin do this. Do you think it would be weird for a black woman?

I think you will probably get some stares or remarks. I rarely see anyone with umbrellas (unless it's raining). Once in awhile I will see a woman with one, but its usually some really fair Asian lady. But on the other hand, if its protecting your skin and preventing you from getting wrinkles and skin cancer, then who cares what people think!

I think that you should do what makes you happy. If you want to protect your skin you should do what is necessary to do that.
