retin a

I have read that Retin A can reverse sun damage and lighten the skin. You can only get it with a prescription but I believe it does work

Re: retin a

I used retin A a long time ago, without knowing it caused lightening of the skin---and it actually worked really well. It took SEVERAL months before the areas that I applied the cream & lightened to become darker again.

Retin A can be be very irritating to many people. Aloette has a new product that contains a Vitamin A derivative in clical levels that will do all the wonderful things that Retin A oes without the irritation. It does not contain Retinol (small amounts of Retin A that allowed without prescription)

If you are interested email me off linefor info or to order

The folks here put me on alldaychemist.com It is a pharmacy in India. The shipping is $25.00 but Retina A is about $2.00 or less so you can buy in bulk to offset the high shipping rate. I mean I think it's a good deal because retina A here can cost 80 dollars or more! I placed an order. It appears that many folks here use it so it seems legit. I am hoping to get by order my next week

I forgot to add, Retina A doesn't need NO PRESCRIPTION on their site.

@Dude-Everyone has different experiences,lol.

Re: retin a

I cannot tolerate RA from ADC as I have severe adverse reactions like peeling, burning, itching and redness. So now am using RA cream 0.1% made by Ortho (Montreal) a Johnson & Johnson divison and it's been okay.

what percent of ra were u using from adc? because the ra cream .025, and
.05 % they sell on adc is from johnson & johnson.

Re: retin a

I used ALL the gel and micro versions of RA 0.05 and 0.1% and I have tried Retino-A in the past which also manufactured in India, hence cheap, but it has funny smell to it so I discontinued using it. My RA manufactured by Ortho (Montreal) came a few days ago and it's been okay for me so I will stick to this brand name RA eventhough more expensive.

Re: retin a

My skin is loving it (0.05% cream) so far <knocks on wood>! I ordered mine from ADC.

I love how it's clearing up my face and neck without making me glow in the dark.

Re: retin a

@Eggo-Elaborate, like you mean uniforming your skin tone without making you pale?

So far, I think I used it for a week. Now, when I wash my face sometimes, it burns a little. The soap I used though gets really thorough cleaning and has Tea Tree Oil, so I def. think my skin is coming more sensitive from the product. It has also caused the back of my neck to become sensitive in certain spots.

I don't even use it straight, I mix in Shea Butter. I use the 0.025% gel. I think if my skin become progressingly more sensitive, I will use it every 2 days instead, and a soy-based serum on the alternate days.

My sister used it and hated it. She said it made her skin much more sensitive the sun and caused her to sweat and make her face hot. Another friend said it made her more sensitive to the sun and was a waste. But my skin is different from them, both of them had acne since like 11.

Yes, I'm so amazed and happy... I had to hit 'pause' on the F&F & HQ on my face and neck(front) mid October. Even before that I'd skip days...

I was getting a moonbeam yellow-y bleachy (different from the natural yellowish-light peanut butter brown on my torso) sort of glow that I did not want. When I stopped the hq & ff it warmed up. I still don't fully understand it...undertones maybe?

I'll eventually get back to the facial bleachies when my arms match my face & decolete(sp?)? For now, the Retin A 0.05% is awesome. I'm not using anything else too irritating on my face...Sometimes still the F&F cleansing scrub, or Dove soap, Cetaphil and/or olive oil before.

...I've been using the Likas and Crusader soap mostly on my arms. ...No glycolic 35% facial peels since i started the Retin-A either.
