Re: toniqu use and lactic acid peel

Use the Tonique Gel with the Vitamin C serum and sunblock during the day and Retinol at night (Retin-A will be too strong for you, start off with OTC Retinol). Dont purchase anything else from Tonique other than the 10x Gel. Use Thayer's Alcohol-Free Lavender Witch Hazel as your toner, it will tighten and brighten and costs only 6 to 10 bucks for a 12 ounce that lasts about 4 months. The lactic acid you can do at 40% after 2 months of the regimen that includes the above. Dont jump on the wagon with too many products, stick to the regimen for a while then do a peel.

I was looking at the Vit C in it. ?? Used occasionally when I am extra oily it probably won't hurt.

ah ok, ooo it has Orange Flower in it, that alone leaves ur skin so clean and toned, I told you about when I used Orange Flower Water as a toner? It was good but I ditched it since the Orange Flower toner also contained sodium benzoate.

Goatlady, did you think about oversupplementing like more than the recommended amount with vitamin A to decrease oil production?

KEWEL. I won't ditch it. It has to be decent it's Thayers! I have been using the Rose one and it's nice and wanted to change up. Even when my skin feels a bit raw from RA the rose water one does not sting. I have several toners I use depending on how my skin feels when I get up and go to bed.

Oh do I ever probably over supplement, BUT as long as my oily skin does not break me out I am ok. I haven't really had that kind of trouble since my teens.

Re: toniqu use and lactic acid peel

yes you can use the Tonique toner if you are tired of sending products back. You can use the RoC retinol at night and make sure whichever vitamin C serum you are buying has a high concentration of the ingredient "L-Ascorbic Acid".

First you wash your face, then you tone, then you apply a 3 to 4 drops of the Vitamin C serum all over your face, then wait 5 minutes for it to dry, then apply Tonique, then sunblock in the morning.

The Thayers last about 4 months? Great!

If you use tonique daily, how long does a jar of tonique last? Are you using it on the face and/or body?
