I hope someone can give some insight. I have heard of vitamin C serum or something like that for the face and for the eyes I think its by avalon organics, but I dont know if its for lightening the skin tone in that area or just for wrinkles and puffyness.
One more question what are the best vitamin C serums out there, I hear its really good for making your skin have a nice glow?
Thanks |

Thanks | Someone mentioned good results with one from cosmetic skin solutions and I will be trying this one out when I finish with the one I am using at the moment.

I found that by using the HQ within 1/2" of my eyes (small amt applied carefully) thee skin near m eyes has lightened along with the rest of my face. Since the skin is very thin in this area, the HQ likely seeps under the skin into the surrounding skin closer to the eyes. I've benefitted from even lightening of this area w/o even a hint of irritation or, of course, any affects on my vision. Do not put RA that close to the eyes, though; just the HQ alone.

Great! I'm glad your stuff arrived & you can get started. B4 applying the RA, please read the sticky thread by LNL on retinoids. RA is strong stuff & you need to know as much as you can about it. Please remember to pop in & report on your progress!

cool. I think anyone attempting to lighten the eye are must BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL. no need for any of us to glob on product im saying this incase there are lurkers who have no idea wouldnt want anyone to hurt themselves. eye and lip are pretty serious areas must be done carefully. i myself am going to try this ive lightened alot im using carotein gel and my dark eye circles are pretty bad. ANd im a little confused is carotein an acne treatment as well as lightener?????????????????

You do so by clicking on the thanks icon (the blue icon with the raised thumb on the lower right) in each post just to the right of the quote icon.

| Where did you purchase the gel version? Do you like it so far?
Carotein is a great alternative to RA..Yes it exfoliates as well as lightens but it's not an acne treatment nor does it have the many other benefits of Retin-A!

well im not sure yet if i like the gel i have ordered the cream so i will see how that goes so far i havent seen a difference. the stuff that worked best for me was the skinactives brightener BUT i noticed it was turning brown so that led me to try out this carotein stuff. i think the gel irrated my face a lil but i have uber sensitve skin. or maybe my face is getting used to the product????? i hate trial and error burns a hole in my pocket and spirits |

I just popped into this thread. Well how do you do the lips then? I have been a smoker for a long time and I am curious.
