What does Fair & White Gel REALLY contain?

Can someone lay this to rest once and for all?

what are the Fair & White Exclusive Whitenizer Gel Creme in the BLUE tube ingredients? Why are some saying that it absolutely does NOT contain HQ and others swearing that it DOES? And does anything else in the Fair & White line contain H? I really want to purchase this!

the website says it contains hq, the container it comes in doesnt list hq as an ingredient

I would go by what the website says and the website states that the exclusive range contains HQ except the soap

I have contacted them myself and i will copy and paste there response

lumedia spot treatment when i bought it years ago never listed it contained HQ until people found out and then complained about it and i believe now they list this on the box

please note HQ IS NOT LISTED ON ANY of the ingredients list ...but its listed on the website ....HQ is in the original range which is what you have sophia

thanks you guys! I'm not against HQ in the least, I firmly believe in its merits, but when using several products, I need to know whats in what so I'll know how much HQ I'm putting on lil ole Me!

I believe it has something do do with not drawing the ire of customs as well. I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt since many respectable members here have used this product & have given it positive reviews. No one has reported any troubling adverse reactions either.

I dont have anything with HQ but i have seen post where people are using it in replace of HQ thinking it doesnt contain it
for a more natural alternative which clearly isnt the case

According to all the research I've seen published in peer reviewed journals on Google Scholar, there are no natural agents whatsoever that have been proven to be anywhere near as effective in lightening skin as has HQ4-5% + tretinoin 0.05-0.1%. Natural agents can brighten already fair skin but those with a skintone > Fitz III won't get much of a result from Kojic acid & A Arbutin or licorice root extract etc.

exactly odine no there arent im a black woman much darker than most people on the forum which i have noticed are quite light to me lool

So the things i have seen work for them just are not going to work on a darker skintone like mine but you dont always see reviews done by darker skinned women which is why i made a point to post my pics and to be a active member

I have not seen one picture from the many people who used makari that clamied it lightened them 5 shades NOT ONE

HQ will always be in my medicine cabinet as it works you just need to use it with common sense dont bake yourself in the sun with it then wonder why your skin is not looking to pretty

the only other product i used where i got significant skin lightening not brightening on very dark pigmentation was ella bache

ewww...now I have a sticky dilemma that is kinda funny but not..
I have an online friend that I've known for a few years cuz we both buy ingredients from the same vendors and make our own makeup and lotion. We've talked continuously thru forums and email. We have both been looking at the options for lightening and comparing notes for a game plan. We both ordered the Carotein cream and RA but were undecided on HQ cream. She said she used one with HQ in the past (I wanna say its Makari? but I'll have to double check my emails) and it gave her redness, then darkness then acne. I have used an HQ/RA cream also in the past and it was GREAT but the company stopped carrying it (Michelle something). Now she really wanted to stick with a 'natural' one and ordered the Fair & White gel to go with our other products. I ordered the HQ/RA from ADC but havent received it yet. Her F&W came from Amazon and she has been using it since about the third week of Jan, I think, somewhere around one of my first posts. She started as Kelly Rowland's color and it is OBVIOUS that the creams are really working! But she's been going on and on how people can get her results "without all that harmful HQ" and thats what she has been using! I think maybe its like a placebo, she had heard the negatives about HQ before so maybe she convinced herself it screwed her up?? and now that she wants the 'natural' to be better, it is?? I dont know what to think! And I dont want to bring it up to embarrass her cuz wouldnt that make you feel stupid you think? I'm not sure now how to approach this or if I should? Cause its not harming her as she thought but still, I feel like I'm keeping a secret from her.
I know company's have to market and make their sales but I think honesty would go further. Just let people know and make their own decision on what to put on their body. I personally think HQ is great in moderation, like most things. Its not outright deception but I feel bad for the people that only want to use natural and are not getting it.

I think it depends on how close a friendship you have with this person & if she's someone who's likel to overreact. The side effects you described sound typical of the experiences reported here by people who've used Makari. There's no HQ in that product. As for the F&W, nobody seems to be completely certain as to what it actually does contain. Having a product tested here is very expensive. Perhaps someone with access to a lab can test it when they get the chance.

I would tell her that the product shes using has HQ. She should know what the actual ingredients are in the products shes using. I would give her a link to the site and be like "oooo geee, HQ is in this product"

...IF we could actually dig up proof that it actually DOES contain HQ & if so, what %age! My order of 3 tubes arrived just this afternoon. Oddly, the ornate gold packaging lists a series of ingredients but nothing whatsoever that one could claim to be a lightening agent! It is as though this cream contains NO ACTIVES! Weird! As soon as I'm done Testing the Nadinola Extra Strength, I'll give this stuff a test drive & duly report my experience with it.

Hi Ondine, is it possible to list the ingredients you hav on the box..i ordered the whitenezer gel but got the brightening treatment(white box) instead! I've only been using it two days but forehead is sort of cracking im bit worried!!

Benzenediol is 'one' of the chemical names for HQ/Hydroquinone

(List taken from a box I have sitting around as this topic has been discussed before)

Ingredients:Propylene Glycol, Cetearyl Alcohol, 1, 4-Benezenediol, Castor (Ricinus Communis) Oil, Carnauba Wax, Polyacrylamide/C13-14 Isoparaffin/Laureth-7, Parfum (Fragrance), Sodium Sulfite, Sodium Metabisulfite, CI 14700.

That is how the list is written on the box.

I, personally, think it's a high percent HQ, as it works fast with me.

**IF ANYONE HAS ANY ALLERGIC REACTIONS TO CERTAIN CHEMICALS(or a certain chemical) I, "HIGHLY", RECOMMEND YOU SEARCH EACH INGREDIENT(no matter how tedious and/or time consuming it may be) IN THE PRODUCT/S YOU ARE USING AS A NUMBER OF COMPANIES WILL LIST SOME INGREDIENTS BY ONE OF THEIR CHEMICAL NAMES INSTEAD OF TERMS WHICH THE MAJORITY KNOW.**
