Adapelene vs Retin-a

hi all, I was just wondering is Adapalene as effective as Retin-a in terms of getting rid of dead skin/lightening? As far as I know adaplene causes very little peeling, so is it as effective as retin-a? Please and thank you.

Re: Adapelene vs Retin-a

I was just thinking about this too. Just asked LL about it, hopefully i'll get a response soon.
Why do you want to use Differin (Adapalene) instead of retin a?
I've stopped using retin a due to rebound pigmentation from the harsh australian sun despite very high spf European sunblock
