Kitoscell scar cream

Hello everyone.

I noticed that there is this new scar reduction cream called Kitoscell. It's operation mechanism looks somewhat similar to copper peptides, it disables certain growth factors like TGF-B1. Same product in pill form is used to treat internal scarring of lungs in Japan, some information can be found at their website (in spanish). It's active ingredient is a drug called Pirfenidone.

Unfortunately it's currently available only in Mexico, it can be bought from pharmaceutical stores without prescription. It's also quite expensive, but it might be worth a try if one can find a way to get it. I hope there will be international distributor for this product.

Any opinions?

Also, I'm using copper peptides and hydroxy acids to treat a hypertrophic scar on my arm, and I'm wondering if I should try this one too during summer (to avoid copper staining and redness). There are some comments on mexican message boards that say Kitoscell works very well, but of course it does not really prove anything. I wish there was more information about this product.

I've just researched this and I would like to buy it.

Has anyone had any luck obtaining kitoscell outside of Mexico?

Looks like that currently only way to get it is through someone living in Mexico who can buy it and send, or directly from the manufacturer. There are some internet pharmaceutical stores that have it, but they don't ship to other countries.

I hope that there are no safety issues with this product (since it's an anti-fibrosis drug) and that they will start to sell it in other countries too.

hi, i recently went to mexico & bought kitoscell treatment i had surgery about 8 weeks I stared the treatment of kitocscell 2 days ago dr said i should see results in just 6 weeks ill keep u guys posted..wealcome to ask any ?

Very interesting. Was it the doctor who performed your surgery who suggested to use Kitoscell? Please tell us if you notice improvement or any adverse effects like redness or other kind of irritation.

I have scars that are from childhood, I wonder if this will help fade them? They are extremely lighter than my normal skin tone...I saw that edeal pharmacy is selling it for KITOSCELL GEL 90G for 129.07. It is stated that the 30g cream is going for $70.00.

Hi, I live in Mexico and I have access to Kitoscell, my surgeon recommended it for scars, he says it is the best thing on the market, If anyone is interested I can get and send it, I have not tried it yet, but people swear it works.

I have two tubes of Kitoscell left from four I brought back from Mexico. I have used it with good results and no skin reaction whatsoever. I just used a thin coat on clean skin two times a day (morning and night) for 6 mos. Two tubes were plenty for two scars both about 2 inches long. I paid $50 for each and will sell for that price including shipping to anywhere in U.S.

I has been using this gel in my son (4 years old), we have keloide scars and looks its working, he has a scar on his face and I am very worry about it, I am close to Mexico border, if you need one, let me know I can send it to you. I know how you feel.
You can fin additional inforation at Kitoscell add mx, some of the technical data is in english you can access and so manay photos showing the results.
Let me know if you need it, I think 30g is enough to verify the progress.
