Painful Pimple on eyelid

I have a pimple on my eyelid and the skin is thin and sensitive there. Not to mention a 3rd eye that has been on it's way for a week. I could just cry!
How do I treat to reduce swelling and inflamation on eyelid???

Forgoodnesssake!
I just keep getting pimples here and there. Stupid hormonal flare up this week I'm sure.

Looks like I'm going to have to go on birth control... and I don't want to.

In case you haven't noticed.. lol.. I'm a bit of a complainer.
I'm 30 and don't want pimples like this anymore.
Sorry..I just needed to vent!

Thanks for the info Fawnie! Now I'm not sure if it's a stye or a pimple. It's not near the lashes at all..its closer to the brow line. It hurts. I've already picked at it out of frustration.

Must Not Pick!!!

Do you have any zit emergency things like benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid?
I get those painful ones too sometimes and just dotting the medicine on it and leaving it alone seems to help more than picking at it.

Sorry to hear....yes, maybe some hormonal help would be best if the topicals don't help.

You can vent all you like!! Skin care forum!! perfect place for it!!

Good girl. Just use it for spot treatment, not all over,'k? Anything else that's worked for you in the past for the volcano type ones?

You know what really helped the last time I had them? My BabyQ red. It comes in a "blue" one for acne only and some ppl have said it really lessened the frequency and severity of outbreaks. But my "red" one helped too.

ACNE

Last time I took an Aleeve and used Perioxide for infection and then PrepH for inflammation. I read recently that PrepH on your face is damaging.. But I only it for emergency's like volcano's! ha!

My two flare ups have deflated. I just get all in a uproar when these things happen. I am thankful for makeup and bangs! ;D

I'd love to get a babyquasar but they are expensive for my current budget. Vacation is in 3 weeks. Maybe later .. hope I can find one on sale. If I'm not mistaken, Hautelook.com had them on sale one but I passed it by.

Thanks for listeing and taking care of me..

Just dab any pimple, cyst or acne with ORganic Manuka Honey above 15+ active and it clears up overnight or within 48 hours

I live in small rural town and I doubt there is any Manuka Honey within a 60 mile radius.. I will put that on my list.

My dad used to raise honey bees for their honey hunny!

Thanks

you can get it online, one jar lasts a year since you'll only be using it as a spot treatment!

JE55ICA,

I just found this -

Kimberly's Guide to Chalazion Cysts

It's worth a read anyway. Good luck - I know exactly how you feel. I have just have 4 of the suckers and believe me, I am much older than you. Hang in there - as my husband told me - 'they heal'.

Whatever you do don't keep touching it... the skin is so sensitive around the eyes so you could either hurt some of your nerves or promote wrinkles. Eye pimples suck the most. Just gotta treat and conceal =[
