Any recommendations on how to get rid of dark spots on my S.E. Asian skin due to old pimples? I have been spending a lot of time in the sun lately (doing some travelling) but so I think that is why I have them. Thanks!

You don't need anything to remove them, they'll go away on their own, but you did identify your problem which is sun exposure. Go with a high SPF (30+) facial moisturizer and stay out of the sun as much as possible. You can use a glycolic wash to assist in the sheding of the old skin and assist in revealing the softer younger layer underneath.

Try licorice soap and kojic soap. then moisturize. Also what would help is take licorice extract, you can get from any health store. and dilute with water. Then do press spot treatements evrynite and apply moisturizer, or u can use it all over us face as a toner. Im trying this now. and my ace scars are like almost faded

You have describe exactly what I have. I had sever acne then when they were gone, I was left with brown spots and I'm also Asian (very fair normally to olive when I tan). I have founded products that contain:
HYDROQUINONE 2% or SALICYLIC ACID do the trick nicely.
Have you tired John Plunkett Superfade, it contains both SALICYLIC ACID 2% HYDROQUINONE? And sometime else called PADIMATE, which means you can use this product during the day under sunscreen. 2% HYDROQUINONE is the strongest dose you can get over the counter here in Australia, you also have to stay out of the sun but. It can also fade freckles though freckles take more time than brown spots from acne.
This over a period of 3-6 months has disappeared all my spots that people actually compliment me on my skin. Which to me is huge, especial since I've been pimple prone for most of my adult life! Hope this helps!
