White pus filled small minute pimples/nodules in beard and moustache area

Hi There,

I have been having this problem since 7 years. I have white small pus/filled minute nodules that come regularly on the hairy region of my face,i.e., My beard and the Moustache.

The problem is I have always found it difficult to reveal to doctors the main cause I think which is behind the condition.

It so happened, that I had performed Oral Sex on a woman, prior to the break out. This lady, hadn't even informed me about her yeast infection, and onset of period. Quite Frankly, I had not perform the act for more than 5 seconds, cause it was smelly down there. But those 5 seconds...or contact have given me quite some trouble over the years.

Is there anyone who can give me a solution, to help clear the condition.

Are you sure it's not just regular acne from shaving irritation?

Yes, I am 100% sure it isn't due to shaving. I will cite reasons.

I was shaving before 2004 too, but i never had these white minute nodules come up then.

I noticed this problem began only when the oral contact happened as described above.

Well if you think it's an STI then you need to see a doctor. It's only awkward if you make it awkward.

See a doctor `jerk` and don't post such a personal and disgusting question. Really ... you deserve to have white pus filled everything as far as I am concerned.

Go away please.

Have you got brain damage? I'm tired of your snotty posts...

Dude, I would definitely see a doctor; they've dealt with this sort of thing so many times that it has become routine for them. If you're embarrassed, then you can easily transfer your GP without too much hassle. If it is STI, you could give it to someone else or it could progressively get worse.

Edit: Are you sure it is not razor bumps? I started getting razor bumps after my hair became a lot more coarse and from using old blades.

Dear Doc ...

I am so very sorry if you 'view' my posts as snotty ... the post made by this gentleman is inappropriate for me or anyone else to read ... many people who partake of this forum are exceedingly young ... the topic discussed by this person should not be written here ... I'm sorry ... this type of issue should be discussed with his physician solely and in the privacy of a medical setting ... he is embarrassed to discuss this matter with his doctor; yet he posts it here for the world to read ....

Be happy Doc ...

Libra, when I read your posts I feel as though I am in the Twilight Zone, or at least feel as though I have somehow travelled back into the 18th century when this sort of discussion was taboo.

The OP had a genuine question, he seems concerned about his condition. As far as I am aware he wasn't being sexually explicit, indecent or vulgar.

Can I quickly inform you that we no longer live in a society where items of discussion like this are taboo? Can I also remind you that topics such as this are in most educational curriculums?

This is bizarrreeee. The poor guy probably won't come back now.

Dear Doc ...

I found his comments uncomfortable reading (for me) ... perhaps I am off in some way ... hopefully, he doesn't return ... and hopefully, he will see a doctor for this smelly issue ...

I'm surprised that his post wasn't removed by admin ... really ... I feel that his post was indeed vulgar, offputting, and inapproriate ... this isn't an academic setting ... this is a skin care forum ... remember ... it isn't our business to hear about his sexual escapades ... his puss filled nodules contained within his beard or anything else inappropriate ...

Perhaps this is okay reading for you ... I find it totally disgusting ... and I'm sure that I am not alone in this feeling ...

I appreciate your response; however ... and wish you luck always.

Libra, you portray yourself as a very conservative person and you have your opinions which is fine and I'm not contesting this, but you have to understand that a lot of people here are very liberal.

People here are following SCT rules, but there have been far worse things put into discussion; things like: Anal bleaching, getting intoxicated with alcohol, playful flirting, sex, making-out with aliens etc.. You have LNL who flirts about, makes sexual innuendoes about anything and everything but we find it funny. I also read a comment you made regarding Martini's where you described it was euphoric. Now I don't drink for certain reasons but I am not going to impose these reasons on you or anyone else.

This is an open forum with rules where members are abiding by them. All I can suggest is that if you don't like the content of the post, just ignore it and move on. There is no need to concern yourself with it.

You are right ... I will do so in the future ... perhaps this guy was 'for real' ... I suspected the opposite ... that it was a post posted solely for shock purposes ... thank you for helping me to understand the process a little better ...

Thank you everyone for the advice. My intention was never to shock anyone. Just seeking advice. It is not nice to be called a jerk. Nevertheless, thank for your sincere attempts to help me.

Hey Doc, I am not so sure, It is because of razor bumps. Sometimes, When I shave, I don't see a single white Nodule. Then the next shave, it all comes big time. So this, condition is a little dodgy. You don't see it one time, and you are elated, only to be extremely bothered, the next few days. Also, I'd like to mention that, I purposely don't shave for sometime, to see if these nodules exist at the root of 3mm grown hair; and at the base of it i do end up seeing a nodule. So, I am sure, it isn't razor bumps...

I thought he said "for 7 years". Maybe ingrown hairs? retin-a? exfoliation?

i agree could be ingrown hairs but in any case seeing a doctor is essential even if you suspect yeast infection. but we all know how it can be, seeing a doctor can feel difficult and there are so many stories as to why people put things off. at least youre asking for help now WPB.

also in Libras defence although her reaction was knee-jerk there have actually been instances on SCT where similar things have occured with pictures etc and had been posted for shock value and were just gratuitous.

generally its best to take person at 'face' value and even if their concern may seem outlandish, it could quite possibly be true and be treated as such. just my opinion folks.
