White pus filled small minute pimples/nodules in beard and moustache area - Page 2

Am I right in reading that you've had a suspected STD/STI for 7 years?

Just out of interest, could I possibly ask if you have had any sexual contacts over that period of time that you have suspected this?

Whitepusbeard: I don't think there is such a thing as a 7 year yeast infection on dry skin. There is a certain type of environment in which the yeast must have to survive; such as a warm, moist, environment and in which there is a constant combination of the two. I am not a doctor, nor do I claim to be, but it could be some other form of dermatitis. Your best bet is to:

A. Buy over the counter Monistat. Rub it on and see how that works.
B. Try Skin Tight, it is an over the counter product (Beauty Supply Stores, CVS, & Wal-Mart sells this) that dries out ingrown hair
C. Go to the Dermatologist and simply let him examine you and tell YOU what it is. Do not provide a guess to the Doctor at what you think it "could" be. Let HIM tell YOU what it IS.

I saved the Dr's office for last, since your condition has persisted and you have gone this long without treatment...

Hi There, I did go to the Dr. Several Time during the first year I had this problem. Not one Doctor, but atleast 6 of them. Each one had something different to say. Just like you suggested, I was trying to test if they were able to give me a consistent diagnosis. To my surprise all of them, had different things to say. Moreover, all of the medication they prescribed, had no affect over the condition either. One said, Folliculitis, the Other Milia, etc.
I was given Acyclovir, and all sorts of medicine, to no success. Now, I don't trust these guys either. It isn't my condition is really bad that, I get it all over the place. But it still is annoying.

I highly doubt it's a yeast infection either. And FTR, if a chick smells that bad "down there" it's likely not because of a yeast infection, but something bacterial which she needs to see a doctor about- or at the very least, just needs to take a good ole shower. JMO. lol Thought I'd just throw that out there........ White, you might try using a cream beard remover and stay away from razors. CBB recommended a couple. I got one and it's called Carson Magic Skin Conditioning Shaving Powder- (depilatory) designed to stop razor bumps. Here's a youtube vid for the cream. What I have, you mix w/water.

Have you specifically gone to a Dermatological Specialist that specifically treats skin illnesses. I remember once having to go to an Immuniologist (a specialist that treats immune disorders) to discover why I was suddenly deathly tired ....I had gone to 4 standard docs before I looked into the YellowPages ad and found the specialist. He discovered what was wrong, treated it, and now I'm okay. (Discovered it was Mono, btw.)

My suggestion would specifically be to seek a specialist that only works with skin and treats non-specific skin disorders. Insurance should partially cover this.

I really hope this provides some help.

...and after reading your post again, I understand NOW that you are stating that you DO NOT get it all over the place...but still check out that specialist!!!
