I've ordered from ADC several times and have not had a problem with my credit card. Did start to receive spam emails, however these go directly to the spam folder. My last order from ADC was received within 2 weeks and I live on the East Coast USA

@Ruff I have the same junk mails and find that aspect of ADC unprofessional but they are reliable. They made up for a mistake in my order by sending me out another. What I stated earlier is mainly my observation in the SL section of this forum.

@Ruff:

I would like to submit our response on the points you have addressed.

1) Spam Mails: We are not involved in spamming and you can see that the spam mails are not going from our server. Many times, these attacks are based on a dictionary attack where the spammer finds a domain they want to send spam from and send it to thousands upon thousands of email addresses. You can also understand that by selling or distributing the e-mail addresses of our clients we are not getting anything.

2) Credit Card details Compromising : All our transactions are done on a very secure server to which even we can't access. Even our payment processing Banks can store only the first eight digits and last four digits of the card without the expiry or the CVV number. The 12 digits are needed to identify the transactions. Further, if there is anybody whose card has been used fraudulently, they may like to see the following under which their maximum liability is US$ 50.00.

We are however investigating this issue and are also changing our website server to one of the world's leading server providing company Rackspace.

3) Over the phone orders : Placing the order over the phone is completely safe as only our senior representative take the card details. The details are stored in secure server by our staff and once the transaction is completed, they destroy the card details.

Please note that customer satisfaction and confidentiality will always remain our top priority.

When I placed my first order with ADC, I had trouble with the online CC checkout process -- nothing to do with ADC, just my problem due to not being familiar with how their site worked. I figured this was my problem when I noticed that my order wasn't progressing (as shown on the ADC site) after 4-5 days. So I called and left a message on the 800# and my call was returned promptly -- not even 30 minutes passed. The rep who called me back told me that they could take VISA only (not MC or other cards) on phone orders. I don't carry a VISA card, so I called back when I got home. Gave my number over the phone to the rep and I had no problems at all with my card after that -- no fraudulent charges.

I still recommend that when in doubt, or to be extra safe, use a one-time use cc number from cc issuer's website, or use a prepaid cc with just the amount of your transaction prepaid.

I tried to order from them for the first time last week. After I tried to submit my CC info, the page hung and eventually timed out. I tried placing the order again and got all the way thru to the end, until submitting CC again, and it hung and timed out again.
So I gave up and about 2-3 days later, I got an email NOT FROM ALL DAY CHEMIST but some third party, saying that they are the order procecessor and need my CC info to complete it. This skeeved me out and I did not reply to the email.

I remember having to try a different card because the other one didn't work due to the same circumstances. If Ruff hasn't already, just dispute the charges with your credit card company or bank.

Hi Keith,

I'm glad you joined and chimed in on this. However, I will dispute the "we don't get anything" from selling email addresses. You get money from it when you sell it. And I KNOW it's ADC. Without question. I made up an email address to use and I have ONLY used it for ADC. Within a few days of ordering, that email is BOMBARDED with spam. So you're either selling the email addresses or someone who works for you is. There is NO question in my mind about that, and you should NOT do that. It's really annoying and offputting. I have never had an issue with ANYTHING else from ADC. I have ordered multiple times and had my orders delivered complete and in a timely manner, the quality of the products is good and never had an issue with my credit card. But the spam - that's all you guys!

I too ordered without credit card issues. Lots of spam, though. I will order again.
I've been a long-time Retin-A user. Now doing DIY: L-AA, Tetra, B3/anti-oxidant serum. Sometimes dermaroll, just started peels, and just ordered FlexEffect

Since ADC does not ship to Canada, has any fellow Canadians had any luck using Aloha Forwarding to receive their ADC products? Looking for some feedback on this service. Thanks!

Just had to cancel my card too after buying from them. I don't use my card anywhere but online and they have been the most recent one I used it at. I had not used it in a couple of months. Also this happened about 2 years ago and I just blew it off as no big deal, it happens and canceled the card. My charges were for friendsfinder, Tigerdirect and Ritzcamera. Surprisingly, when this happened 2 years ago it also had Ritzcamera. I know I personally will not order from them without using a one time use card. Warning, be very careful. I like their Retin-A but will be more more careful in future purchases.

Please trust us and we will not gain anything apart from loosing our reputation in the eyes of our valued members. No one can run business by selling their valuable client e-mail addresses for long time. I have heard that client are getting e-mails about the medications selling websites and how come any one can sell the e-mail addresses to the same industry companies because that will be a direct loss to us.

In spite of having industry standard secure certification, McAfee Secure and ControlScan checks (based on your e-mail message), it seems somebody has hacked the information from our site during the transmittal. However being an ethical company, we have taken this issue very seriously and without disputing whether or not it is our liability, we have moved our entire web-site to one of the world's leading hosting company, Rackspace.

Additional firewalls have also been installed on the new server.

We do look forward to your continued patronage to our pharmacy.

Thanks

Keith

I sincerely apologize the inconvenience caused to you and our other valued members.

On our investigation, we have found that somebody has hacked the information from our site during the transmittal. Our website server has been changed to one of the leading server company with additional firewalls.

You are requested to please monitor your Bank statement carefully and instruct your Bank not to authorize any transaction without your consent.

Thanks

I am a long-time member and sometime poster over at MUA. I joined here because I've been Googling to find out if my recent order at ADC might have been behind the fraudulent charges that appeared on my card shortly thereafter. It appears that is the case. I'm very bummed out. If anyone has made recent purchases from them, I would recommend canceling that card.
*sigh* sadly I too am a victim of ADC. I've had to cancel two cards today because of fradulent charges on both. This stinks!

Of you folks who had credit card charges fraudulently, do you mind if I ask what kind of card you used, Visa, Mastercard, Amex? I'm just wondering if that has anything to do with it. I use my Amex every time and have had no such problems. I wonder if AMEX has an extra layer of protection for whatever scam this is that's going on.

I ordered from ADC, my shipment was received in a very timely manner, exceded expectations in fact. And, I have had no issues with my cc (and hopefully will not). I used Amex. I have had issues with AMEX in the past, but was not due to anything with ADC.

Mine was a Visa. I noticed the charges when they were pending so I caught it very quick. Hope all goes well with everyone else getting the fraudulent charges fixed.
I caught mine too when they were pending on my Visa. Thankfully!
So two AMEX - no probems
Two Visas - fraudulent charges.

I'd like to hear from more people.
