Hey guys - so about 5 months ago I used a salicylic acid peel (20%) and the peel gave me some hyperpigmenation. After using sun screen and taking care of my skin most of it is gone. Now I'm looking for ways to improve my skin. I have brown skin and have always had mild acne. I'm a guy by the way. My goal is to reduce the acne scars I have in addition to the remaining hyperpigmentation. Also I would like to be one shade (not too much) lighter. So this is what I have done so far and I wanted to get your thoughts:
I use Retin A (0.04%) 5 nights a week (been increasing the number of times over the past 2 weeks).
In the morning I wash with Likas Papaya Soap and also use exfoliating gloves a few times a week. (Just starting this).
I also just purchased NuFountain Fresh Cosmetics C10, Made Fresh When Ordered, 10% Vitamin C Serum for Sensitive Skin - to use in the mornings after I shower. I also use a zinc oxide sunscreen prior to going out.
Also I plan to order St. Ives Timeless Skin Collagen Elastin Facial Moisturizer to use because the Likas/Retin A is starting to dry out my skin.
What other products do you guys suggest I use? I would like to stick with natural products and avoid HQ if at all possible. Thanks a lot!
