I was going to leave this statement alone but...........ummmm, just couldn't. So I'll clarify why I recommended this, I'd also suggest that you or the posters read my original 2006 post (#6) in this link.
I am a skin care professional, and skin care is more or less a hobby of mine ..till I retire from my full-time job in a few years.
MULTIPURPOSE USES:
Most skincare lines/consultants, would recommend a different product/tool on e-v-e-r-y part of your body. In my approach to skin care I make it a point to try to find and recommend products/procedures that are multipurpose.
ABRASSIVENESS:
The gentle side of the "recommended" paddle is no more abrassive than your average sugar srub. (except it does not dissolve).
The gentle use of this paddle will allow the user to see the amount of skin being exfoliated therefore they immediately can see the effectiveness of the procedure; unlike other products.
ECONOMIC USES:
This procedure ((#6) ). could save the user about $60.00 per use. ($60 - is a conservative estimate of the price of a Full-Body Scrub). Also see post#4 (2006 post) for bath recipie/pre-hair removal guidance: partial quote below.
http://www.skincaretalk.com/basic-sk...ores-legs.html1. Two days before hair removal, bathe, soak and then gently exfoliate your skin. I recommend your favorite bubble bath with a cup of powdered milk added in..(Cleopatra never had it so good; the milk makes a great coffee creamer too) I gently rub with a pumice stone to exfoliate but a sugar scrub may do for you.
TRAVEL: The paddle is MUCH easier to travle with than a "sugar scrub".
