Help!! Hard pimple under skin on my chin

When I run my finger over it, it feels huge. When I look in the mirror I can't really see it right now. My bday is in 2 days, is this thing gonna come out and be a huge pimple? What causes these and how to you prevent from getting them?

that's cystic acne - I get a lot of those unfortunately

whatever you do DONT TOUCH DONT SQUEEZE!

If you are very worried about your birthday you can go to the derm and get a cortison injection to remove it

will there be a bruise or mark from the injection?

no the injection actually shrink it completely away in about 1 to 2 days, then a scab will fall off similar to when you have a minor scratch and underneath would be the new skin. There wont be any marks since cortisone is a lightener as well so there wont be any pigmentation working against your healing.

Preperation H....I know it's sounds crazy but it works 100% of the time! when I heard this I though that's crazy but I have been doing and recomending it and had great results.

Acne is caused by
1) Excessive secretion of oil from oil glands
2) Skin Bacteria
3) clogging of skin pores
4) Inflammation
these are the main causes for white heads, pimples and blackheads.

To prevent new acne simply by using a mild cleanser and avoiding touching or picking at the problem areas.
For ance already present consult a dermat and get the right skin care treatment for it.

Go get some benzoyl peroxide or AHA gel.. and put it on the pimp few times daily.
