For some reason I'm not able to send you a private message, so I hope it's ok that I post my question here.
I posted this in the forum, and "gymrat" adviced me to contact you in this matter.
I'm Elina, I come from Sweden but now I live in the US with my husband.
I have always had problems with my skin, so it might not seem very surprising that I'd like to study Holistic/Natural skincare, since it's a big interest of mine. It is important to me, since most of our daily products are polluted with all kinds of stuff, and I have experienced that my own skin can't stand the chemicals in the skin care products.
Do you know of any legit schools/online education in this subject? I don't really know where to start, and it's hard to tell if a website/school is legit or not. And if there are educations, what kind of jobs would they lead to?
I would really appreciate it if you would be willing to help me a little bit with my question!
Hi Eden, sorry if i'm quite persistent. I was just wondering if it is possible. For example can one make an essential oil out of almond's roots, bark etc? Why is almond only a carrier oil? Can one make an essential oil out of almond plant? Thanks a lot? I'm just asking if it is possible although i know no on has created that yet. Thanks for your reply.
PS if ever you recieve the same messages more than once I'm so sorry about that. Whenever I try to send it the message, i keep on recieving the message "try again later" that's why i keep on sending it. Thanks a lot.
Hi edensong, i just wanna ask if is it possible to create an essential oil and a carrier oil from the same source? Say almond... It is a carrier oil but can an essential oil be extracted from it too? Barks etc? Thanks a lot. I created an account just to be able to ask you about this. ))
Hey Eden! i cannot respond to your message here, so sent one via FB. Thanks!
Hello EdenSong! Your knowledge is greatly appreciated. I was trying to PM you, but the system keeps asking me to login when I already am. Maybe one day I will be able to do so.
Thanks for all the input!
