If you need to ask a Quick Question about Skin Lightening Products, etc Post it Here:)

This thread could be useful for someone that needs to ask a question about skin lightening instead of making a new thread. And if you know the answer you could quote their question and answer it for them. I hope this is making sense.LOL

@gymrat I have a problem. I added the glycolic acid to the dove nourishing body care lotion and I shook very well. But it's not mixing together why? The acid Has nor mixed well. I still see the acid and the lotion not bidding. What do I do?
Remove it from its original container (lotion) mix the GA into it really well, don't add the GA to the lotion bottle and just shake it, it won't bind together that way. You have to remove it and mix it by hand then put back in. When you put the lotion back into the container, put the mixed lotion in a zip lock baggy, pop a hole in the corner, and squeeze it back into the container. Makes less mess then trying to scoop a little at a time.

@gymrat it has very okay now. I'll like to more about glycolic acid and how it works? Was it because of the lotion was exposed to air abit that was why it bid? Or what please enlighten me. Love you.
@gymrat it's not bidding
No the air isn't causing it not to bind. Which Dove Nourishing lotion are you using? @brown991 :heart: you too my friend

@gymrat Heyy gymmie, how are you doing?
Quick question gymmie, so I’ve been using a 15% glycolic acid lotion on my body for about 6 days now.. so far (Am Trying To Exfoliate For A Month). I’ve noticed my skin feels dry-ish or something like that.

And i feel like i bruise easily too (don’t know if d GA has a role to play in that)
My palms legit fees like leather.

Do you think all this “symptoms” are just normal nd it’s no big deal??

Hi @chiny :wavey: bruising from GA, no it wouldn't cause bruising. But it very well could dry your skin out......remember its stronger than LA. Try lowering the concentration down to 12% and or don't use it daily use it every other day. You don't want your skin feeling like leather, dry and rough.

@gymrat Thanks for responding
When you say every other day, do u mean like say every 3days? Pls explain.
((Remember i said i was using d GA lotion to exfoliate for 1month)).

Would i still be WELL-EXFOLIATED for dat 1month if i decide to use it every other day and not every day?
